You may find, that it's actually all you need. If not, thanks to superb case and internal build you can easilly upgrade its spec. It has two CPU slots, eight DDR2 banks, can take up to six SATAII or 8 SAS drives. It can also take any two PCI or PCI Express cards (depends which standard riser you ordered). It come with minimum 3 years next business day onsite response warranty but it can be upgraded (althow it cost a lot more). From personal experience I have to say that Dell server support is very good. Shipped with rack rails, Dell 'Systems Management Console' and 'Service and Diagnostic Utilities' (very handy).

Quick review of Dell PowerEdge 2950
The Dell PowerEdge 2900 is an awesome server, it runs like a dream. I personally have had an issue with the RAID, which happened to be my fault... I contacted Dell support, and they were very diligent to getting my problem resolved, they even followed me up when they said they would. Within a few days, I managed to backup my entire system with a broken operating system, and reinstall Windows server with the RAID drivers from a USB stick.
I learned something new in the process, and still today the server is running extremely stable. ...
