Sleek looking huh? a beautiful design from Dell worn by their PrecisionM4300. Not only does its exterior look smart but the graphics on this thing are amazing. Pumping away with a 512Mb graphics card from Nvidia makes this little beauty perfect for computer aided design and animation.

Standard model has Intel dual core processor with speeds ranging from 1.8Ghz (with 2Mb L2 Cache memory) to 2.6 Ghz (with 4Mb L2 Cache memory).
LCD screen is 15.4" with option of having anti glare added.
Either 1, 2 or 4 Gb SDRAM.
Graphics card is a NVIDIA Quadro FX 360M with 512Mb memory (not optional).
Hard drive is 80Gb to 200Gb or a 32Gb solid state drive.
Standard models comes WITHOUT a optical drive but a choice ...

I have been trying to purchase a laptop from Dell and you would think they would be keen to get business, but no, twice now they have cancelled my order with no notification to me. I only found out by calling them to find out why delivery had not happened. The third occasion after lots of apologies and assurances i agreed to continue with the order.
The delivery date has now passed, I have tried to check the order progress but it will not accept the booking reference number, my 'Sales Manager' has not returned my calls or emails and I have just been told by the 'Customer Services' the order has not been processed and they did not know why.
If considering purchasing a Dell online I would think very carefully of the implications of any follow-on service you may require

I purchased the Dell Inspiron 1545 laptop back in January for my daughter's birthday. I had a limited budget but wanted to get her something with decent enough spec for playing computer games should she wish to do this, and a large hard drive as she is a big fan of making videos on her digital camera and downloading music - two things which can eat up hard drive space.
I did a fair bit of research before purchasing and decided I wanted to get the best spec I possibly could for my money and the Inspiron ticked all the boxes. I paid £399 in January 2009 in Currys for the laptop which was the absolute limit on my budget.
The Dell I purchased has a dark blue coloured lid, however the rest of it is a shiny piano black which looks lovely. I would have preferred metal for the mousepad area - it feels sturdier and doesn't seem to attract ...
The Dell Precision M2300 is powered by an Intel Core 2 Duo ( 2.0GHz ~2.6GHz), 160GB HDD and up to 4GB RAM. There are also optional 32GB SSD and a modular bay to insert an optical drive. Its 14-inch display deliver 1440 x 900 px resolution managed by an NVIDIA Quadro FX 360M 128MB graphic card.
