After weeks of searching the internet for a new computer, I finally settled for the DellStudio 540. I have owned this computer for a little over two months now, and have to say, that I am quite pleased with it?s performance. When it was delivered it was well packed, and all the glossy parts of the base unit were covered with protected covering, which takes a few moments to peel off. Everything was pre-installed so I didn?t need to use the enclosed windows vista operating disc, or drivers. Once I plugged it in, the first thing I noticed was how quite it was compared to my old pc, the first few seconds it?s just a wee bit loud, but even that is still quieter than my old pc, but it soon settles down to just a whisper. Let again my target of review is popular 15.4" series laptop and I am trying to write review on Dell laptop third time.
Generally Dell deals with its customer online and they sell laptop online but also considering retail chain so that they can easily reach to every general people also.
Due to online sell, they provide good range of feature for customization, and we can choose good features and technology for our requirements.
It has popular series display of 15.4".
Here again popular chipset for Windows Vista they have provided is Intel® 965GM Chipset.
T250Gb or 320 GB.
We also have an option to upgrade it to higher speed 7200RPM version
his set is good enough for aero experience of Windows Vista.
The another main feature to consider is graphics card, and if u wants to give a more fun to ur gaming experience than u have to keep ...

Advantages: Design, Battery Life, Quality, Customisable Disadvantages: Media buttons hard to see in dark

The battery charger can sometimes get a little hot, although this is only after a long charge. Incidentally, it is quite quick to charge.
I have always found Dell to be quick and easy to contact, should any problems arise. I also like the fact that their laptops are customisable, and so you can choose whether or not to have a webcam, more memory, etc. Excellent prices too.
We have personally owned 3 Dell laptops, while I use Dell PCs at college, and can say that they are of good quality and durability.
Highly recommended, would definately buy again! ...
