I have just purchased six of these Dell UtraSharp flat screen monitors, and I must say that I am very pleased with the purchase.
First of all, let me say that I do not use them all at once. Iam not that good.
I manage a small specialist planning team within a manufacturing company, and I had a requirement to upgrade existing 15" CRT monitors to something with a bigger viewing area, as a bigger viewing area is easier on the eyes when you are using large excel spread sheets or MS Projects.
As with all things in business you have to consider the boring budget, as you can just hear your manager "How much is that going to cost"
However, when I looked at all monitors in the 20" plus size range I was pleasantly surprised to see that the new flat screen versions were just as cheap as CRT types.
I got a few quotes and we eventually agreed on the Dell UtraSharp Midnight Gray 21" Flat Panel Momitor to give it its full title.
The monitors when they arrived were well packaged and it was mearly a matter of removing the old ones, plugging the new ones in,configuring them which was straight forward, and away you go.
The 21" viewing area is supurb compared to a CRT monitor. The image is crystal sharp and a real ease on the eyes and the amount of space it frees up on your desk is great.
The screen is just like a picture frame which sits on an adjustable height pedestal right in the corner of your desk.
An additional handy function to the monitors is the inclusion of two additional USB ports in the side of the screen which act just like the USB ports on your PC

So in summary I can say that the Dell UltraSharp monitors are a cool, modern, elegant and asthetically pleasing piece of kit that are a joy to use at a resonable price and I can highly recommend them.
