I have had this monitor for nearly 6 months now, after purchasing it from ebuyer.com. Firstly, it is expensive, but you certainly get what you pay for. I paid just over £400 for this which is a good deal when you make comparisons with other monitors on the market. Dell have always made top quality monitors, and I can say this is definitely a brand a feel comfortable with knowing that what I buy is of the highest quality.
The monitor came well packaged, and came with easy step by step instuctions as well as cables, driver discs etc. It was very easy to set up and really I cannot find many monitors that look quite so stunning sitting on your desktop. The base that the monitor sits on allows for easy and accurate manaeouvring of the monitor, which as one of it's features, can be rotated 90 degrees so that it sits in a portrait mode. This is also handy for putting all the cables into the back as on most monitors this can be quite awkward. The monitor comes with various input ports, so you can plug in your PC as well as your xbox. The screen menu is easy to use, but I feel it could perhaps have included a few more options.
As for the display, it is immense. I'm a keen gamer so when playing games such as Crysis I don't think there is any better monitor. The screen is crystal clear and is a sharp as anything I've seen. Films look awesome, especially if playing HD films. The monitors native resolution is 1920x1200, more than 1080i so films look immense.
I have read complaints about ghosting from time to time, but I think that's really just nit-picking, because I can't notice it.
Added extras include a card reader and some USB slots which is very useful to have, and very easy to access.
All in all, this monitor is unbelievably good, and worth every penny in my opinion. It looks good, performs good and is easy to use, so I definitely recommend it.

Advantages: Plenty of ports and connectors, including a built-in flash card reader Disadvantages: Needs calibration to get best colour - a yellow cast straight out of the box was readily correctable.
