With 4gb of ram and a dual core processor I haven't had a single time where the computer couldn't handle having publisher, excel, word and powerpoint open at the same time. The graphics card handles some basic CAD files I'm sent from time to time without an issue, and excel calculates ... ...machine is quite heavy though and unless you have a very comfortable carry bag it may be a bit uncomfortable. However, the high resolution screen makes me want to take it everywhere. Alongside the sleek back exterior it looks great, nothing distracting me while I look dead on at my work.
The touchpad does get a bit unresponsive now and then and needs to be wiped more than my previous laptop, but, the keyboard is quite comfortable and ... more

The base is plenty big enough to lay my wrists on and save any aches from such a long time typing as well.
The tasetful, but not overdone, blue leds are quite nice as well, and mainly where the compliments lay to be honest.
Coming with a free upgrade to windows 7 and the security platform that allows me to encrypt all my data, I'm very pleased with my purchase.
