I do not own this laptop myself but I did get a chance to borrow one from my friend. The one I am writing a review on has the following configurations:

Intel Core i7-2620M 2.3GHz Dual-Core Processor
8GB DDR3 1333MHz Memory
750GB 7200RPM SATA Hard Drive
15.6" Full HD WLED Display (1920 x 1080) with TrueLife
NVIDIA GeForce GT 525M 2GB Graphics with Optimus Technology
Performance

This laptop is extremely fast as it has the Intel's second generation core processor. Multitasking is very smooth. I opened youtube and started playing 1080p video and blue ray quality videos from my hard disk and then tried opening flash games. It still handled all that with no problem. But when I tried opening battlefield 3 and blue ray movies at the same time the game takes a long time to load. Other than that everything seems perfect. The 15z come with windows home premium 64 bit version. I was really surprised to hear that it comes with 2GB graphics. It also come with DVD writer, Bluetooth 3.0 and spill resistant keyboard.

I was kind of disappointed with its battery life. When I tried playing games the battery drains out in about 3.5 hours. When watching movies the battery lasts upto 4.5 hours.

Design

This laptop is the world's thinnest 15 inch laptop (0.97 inch at its thickest point). This laptop is made up of aluminum chassis which makes it both tough and strong. This laptop weights only 2.51kg. If you see this laptop you will truly be impressed. When I first saw this laptop I fell in love with its awesome design. It looks somewhat similar the macbook pro.
Keyboard/ touch pad/ display/speakers

The keyborad is spill resistant and comes with backlit chiclet which means that the letters written in keyboard buttons glows by the light under the keyboard. I found this
feature extremely useful as it helps typing in the dark. The keyboard is not so roomy but still it rocks as the buttons have spaces between them when makes typing very fast and easy.

I think the touch pad is a bit over-sized but it is very responsive. Under the touchpad are the two large mouse buttons. The touchpad does two, three and four-finger multi-touch gestures such as two finger scrolling and pinch to zoom. I faced one problem that is when I intended to do two finger scrolling the touchpad detected pinch to zoom which can be quite frustrating.

The picture quality is awesome. The screen is very glossy so it's tough to use this in bright rooms or under sunlight because of reflection. I did not find any problems like motion blur. The image seems a lot crisp and detailed than my inspiron 15R but viewing angles sucks. If you tilt your head slightly right or left from the center the colours changes and become very less vibrant.

The speakers are very loud compared to my 15R but has very little bass. The sound quality is perfect for playing games and watching movies but not for listening to songs.
Buying guide

If you really want to buy this laptop than think twice before buying this expensive laptop. Buy a laptop that will suit your needs. If you want laptop for just doing office work than you can buy a very cheap laptop that will be able to suit your needs but if you want your laptop for entertainment and playing games than don't wait.

Overall it is a very great laptop. It is definitely a laptop that is powerful and stylish enough to beat the macbook pro. This is an all purpose laptop. If you want to play games or watch HD videos or just want to work on spreadsheets, this laptop will do it for you without breaking a sweat.

Update: I used this laptop for 1 week. (This is for Azana)
