This is a brilliant machine! I got mine with 4gb memory and a 250gb hard drive. I do all my coursework on this machine, but also use it as my games machine. EASILY runs both iTunes and The Sims 3 (a high RAM demanding game) at the same time. Excellent audio and visual quality with amazingly high volume potential speakers. Also has capacity for a 3G mobile broadband card (sim card like). Also, the design is very cool. I have the Product RED one, so mine is red color. Besides the color, Dell really took care on the design. It is just so pretty. To be honest, I don't really know about the OS and anything like that. But, as far as the speed of the laptop is concerned, it works so great! I never had any unexpected shutdown or close of a program. Since I upgraded to Windows 7, my battery life has increased, and my operating speed has sped up, so my laptop now runs at a cataclysmic speed! Thank you very much Dell!
