Dell XPS M1530 is the next generation of earlier edition, XPS M1330. When Dell introduced XPS M1330, everyone was impressed by its design. It was even named as the most revolutionary moment for Dell laptops. XPS M1530 is not as surprising as M1330 but it's still a superb machine. It's a well-shaped laptop, with thickness only 1.2" in the front. Dell XPS M1530 comes with many variation of specification, start from 1,5 GHz to 2,6 GHz of processor speed with Intel Core 2 Duo, and also has 2 GB -4 GB of ram and 128-256MB NVIDIA® GeForce® 8600M GT Graphic Card. The Dell XPS M1530 also comes in three colors (red, white, and black). Beside of the color options, Dell also offers a 1,440x900 resolution with LCD screen.
As usual, XPS products are always the leader in keyboard comfortability. Dell XPS M1530 is not an exception, you'll be amazed by how good the keyboard is. The large keyboard is one of the best and comfortable that we can use for long-term use. A panel of touch-sensitive media keys above the keyboard can also be used for fast access to music and video ï¬les. The XPS M1530 also comes with a fingerprint reader which seems to work well in daylight but not at all well once it gets a bit darker or under artificial light. The reader software is flexible and can be used to populate logon screens in various programs and web sites by running your finger over it when asked to logon to something. And of course the built-in ï¬ngerprint scanner also can be used to easily protect important ï¬les. Extra features are impressive. The integrated camera lets you stay in touch with friends and family using online video messaging software. The 15.4-inch screen is stunning. Brightness, colour and contrast are all strong, and bring photos and movies to life. The screen panel also folds far back on its hinge, so it's easy to move it to an optimal viewing angle. High-end models feature support for Blu-ray discs. To this end, an HDMI port is also ï¬tted. This is useful even for models with no Blu-ray support, as HD video can be played directly from the hard drive.
Conclusion With so many stand-out features, the Dell XPS M1530 is one of the best consumer laptops you can buy. Both its high-end and entry-level models excel in their own right, and both ï¬rst-time buyers and professionals are sure to be happy with what it has to offer. This XPS M1530 costs about £950 or $1200 more than its entry-level rival, so we expected it to deliver in performance and speciï¬cation. Luckily, it succeeds in both areas. Improving on an already strong foundation, this upgrade is well worth the money.
