They are no help at all!

Advantages: None
Disadvantages: unhelpful in every way

...that but oh no. Dell won't help you with your purchase if you ring up or chat on line, before they know what you want to buy.. then when you say just a monitor (one costing over £300 btw) they say "just a monitor???????" and you say yes and they say they can't help you!!!!! So, because I was trying to buy a Christmas gift and have it delivered some place other than my home, all I wanted was for them to tell me if when If they could ship it to another ...
...had tried to do this on line but it kept placing the delivery address in the card address no matter ho many times I deleted it. Hense I am not buying this from there because they are so unhelpeful and in any case from what I have heard already I believe this to be a lucky escape!! Most unhelpful... customer service score 0/10!! ...

Possibly the worst customer service imaginable

Advantages: attractive design, and on paper the features seem good
Disadvantages: seriously horrendous customer service, a very disappointing product

...go on, but in brief, Dell has sent out 2 engineers who either didn't resolve the issue or were sent the wrong parts, another 4 times they have set up appointments for an engineer to come out and 2 of those they didn't bother to let me know that the engineer wasn't indeed coming so I waited for hours for them. After 2 1/2 months of this and now my display is turning green and pink as we speak and they still are refusing to replace my laptop with ...
...everything'! I've had a Dell laptop before and if it functions well, there are really very few problems, however, if you get a defective laptop like mine, it will take years off your life! I will never buy a Dell again and would recommend to anyone to shop around and choose any other reasonable option!!! ...

Dell V305 3 in 1 Printer

Advantages: None
Disadvantages: Wasted time, very poor print quality, drinks ink like a college frat boy drinks beer

Portable, lightweight and good specs - TERRIBLE customer service

I had an international, next business day, on-site warranty. So, I called them up (I purchased this computer in Hong Kong on holiday) and asked to speak to someone regarding this computer. It took them 3 months, 50 calls, repeated emails ...
...it. That's 96 days Dell left me without a computer. And I had paid for a next business day warranty. Oh - Did I also mention I got hung up on by their customer services department around 10 times after waiting in their phone queue? Or that I got passed from department to department, time and time again, with wait times each between the transferring? And it's an 0845 number because you're calling Indian call centres, with staff who are reluctant to ...

online purchase of inspirion 530

Advantages: easy to use and adjust the product you are buying.
Disadvantages: Dell is slightly more expensive than other makes,but i fell it was worth it.

The online purchase of my dell inspirion 530 was a very easy and pleasant . From the specing of the PC to the payment the website was smooth and easy to use. You could easly add extra's to your Pc such as adding extra ram or extra hardware even add secuirty for your pc,you can pick one with a monitor or just the base if you wishand instantly see the over all cost then save them or discard them as needed. The website is bright and clear to read ...
...any type of pc that Dell make. The purchase price was probably a little expensive and i could have got a better deal elsewhere but Dell are a well known brand and my work uses Dell for there Pc's and they work 24/7 without any real trouble and the easy of the website and purchase help along the way to make my decsion.
