I ordered a PC from dell last year and didn't have any problems so when my wifes laptop died last month I decided i'd buy another desktop PC.

I did a lot of research on the components I needed and checked around as I buy where the best price is so after checking on some bigger companies like dabs and overclockers i found that for a video editing PC for £1100 I got more for my money from dell.

Didn't need anything other than to find out how long production would take. I phoned the sales number and spoke to someone called Phil who told me it was 10 days. No problems

WOW WOW WOW WOW the size of the box. HUUUUUUUUGGGEEEEEE very well packed and very different from my first order. The case packed inside the case box which has poly molds on each side then air bags filling all the gaps. This was then packed inside the big brown computerplanet branded box which was protected on all sides by very small air bags. So the entire PC box was protected by air bags. VERY IMPRESSED.

Arrived on time.

Running

Powered on the PC and installed the wifes applications which with the solid state drive and let me tell you that is AMAZING. I'll never use a regular hard drive as a primary drive again. Very very fast installing photoshop and her video editing stuff.

Downside

Website does have a lot of choice. It's possible less technical people may struggle but I guess you could ring sales.
