Advantages: auto stop and humidistat function Disadvantages: instructions could have been more in depth
...We have been having ongoing problems at our flat for the last few months and have found mould growth to be a serious problem.
We were advised to put in a dehumidifier to hopefully be a solution to the dampness in the flat and stop mould from growing any further so I researched into dehumidifiers (honestly, I had no idea what they were or what they did), and finally narrowed it down to a few models from the Argos catalogue.
De'Longhi was our first choice with Ebac and Prem I Air to follow. I researched into all the models, prices, manufacturers' websites and read soooo many reviews. I was amazed at how much information there was to learn and understand about dehumidifiers and how they can benefit you.
Why do we get mould?
It simply starts with condensation. We can be adding approximately 20pints of moisture into the air by our...

Advantages: Looks great, boils water, makes great tea, can hide chord Disadvantages: None
...What can you say about a kettle, well not much really, does it boil water, yes, ok great, it's done its job but in conjuction with my review on my fabulous Delonghi toaster I didn't want to leave the kettle out and thought I would write a little about that too.
As reviewed with the toaster, my husband and I picked the Delonghi kettle purely for its sleek and sexy design. The kettle comes in a lovely gun metal grey colour and is metal not like theses regular plastic types kettles you can pick up for a fiver in most shops. Ok, so it is a bit more expensive, you can buy it for about £20 in most home stores, such as Debenhams but I have a lovely new kitchen so I wanted something a bit stylish and this fitted the bill.
The kettle is almost a dome type shape such as a jug and is bigger at the bottom than the top. It has avery cool arched...

Advantages: convenient for small portions Disadvantages: hard to get hold of
...The De'Longhi 0190 is a fan assisted combination oven and grill. I have owned this little gem for nearly 3 years and I picked it up off eBay for £30.
The oven exterior is chrome and black with a glass drop down door. The door has a convenient, well placed handle which keeps finger marks off the glass. On each side of the oven are odd rounded protuberances and I am unsure of their purpose; they could be part of its retro styling or they could conceal some of the cookers innards.
It comes with 2 grey enamel cooking trays which are very easy to keep clean as not a lot sticks to them and the stuff that does is easily released with a quick soak. There are 2 shelves and it is possible to raise or lower the position of these. There is one grid insert included to use when grilling foods such as bacon where the fat needs to run off.
It...
