Delonghi toaster toasts the opposition

Advantages: 4 cooking slots, seperate browning dials, multiple functions
Disadvantages: can struggle with larger sizes of bread

of the toaster and are very easy to depress, making this a useful toaster for the older generation who might be getting a bit frail. Situated in between the two levers are the function buttons. In my experience, I have hardly used these buttons. We have the cancel button which releases the bread/toast before the specifed browning has occured. Next is the defrost button which is useful should you need to make sandwiches for example, but you have forgot to get the bread out the night before, simply place your frozen bread in the slots, press the defrost button and breathe a sigh of relief, the Delonghi has just saved your bacon (speaking from experience here!!). The final button is the reheat button. This is a well thought out function as occasionally you might get sidetracked whilst waiting for the toast to pop up. The last thing you want to do ...

Delonghi Toaster - Does exactly what it says on the box!

Advantages: Good toasting quality, looks good, neutral colour suits most kitchens.
Disadvantages: controls a bit plasticy

Being a rather style conscious individual I had to have the best looking appliances for my first ever kitchen and the Delonghi seemed to fit the bill from both a style bill and a price point. It looks cool and retro and it?s beige colour sits good with any kitchen background. Alone it retails at £39.99 however I purchased the toaster with the matching kettle and got them both for £49.99 all in at Makro in 2007. Since then I have seen this same deal in other retailers so one definitely to look out for! Together it?s a bargain but I don?t think I would spend £40+ on it. Featurewise it has the standard settings one needs in a toaster. It has four slots, which operate in pairs. The toast setting is numbered one to five and is easily operated. The slots are nice and wide and can accommodate thick slices and crumpets, you can also lift ...

Review of Delonghi CT 04

Delonghi EC330S

Advantages: Takes Pods as well as Ground Coffee, has removable water tank, great value for money
Disadvantages: Won't take a mug, takes a while to warm up, pods not easy to come by

The Delonghi EC330S is very stylish and would look good in any kitchen. I found the best thing about this machine is that it takes pods as well as ground coffee, and the water tank is removable so no need to take a jug to the tank to fill it up. The cup warmer is a pleasant addition. I am however disappointed that it won't take a mug, so a large cup is ideal if you want a cappuccino. Also it does takes a while for the machine to warm up, and the pods aren't that easy to come by in the shops, so stock up when you find them or buy them online. Overall this is a great mahcine for people who don't want to spend a fortune, or for the begginers as it is very easy to use. 9/10 ...
