Toasty warmness!

Advantages bells, whistles, shiny bits...
Disadvantages shiny bits are hard to keep clean
Delonghi... or possibly DeLonghi, depending on where you look.
When the toaster packed in, about six months back, my missus insisted that the replacement be red. When asked why, she declared that all the appliances would be red in the kitchen. I didn't laugh.
So, I trolled through the stock at work, and found this little gem. Exactly what the boss ordered. Red, four slice, with analogue settings running from "warm bread" to "cremated bread". Perfect.
It is, however, rather bigger than I expected... in fact, for a toaster, it's HUGE.
The missus didn't care about that. It had shiny bits, and therefore I'd done "good".
Actual product information is as follows;
Slices - 4 (in a two and two temperature setting)
Extra wide slots - no fears about trapping your hot cross bun here!
High lift - no more shoving forks in the toaster to rescue the smaller items
Variable heat control - this is analogue, so you can REALLY fine tune the heat to get your perfect slice of toast
Defrost function - this will gently defrost your toast, before you toast it. Personally, i think that's brilliant!
All in all, a great buy - it's a good looking unit, does what it's supposed to, and does it extremely well. And, for all you blokes out there that are like me, it has many buttons to press. Fantastic!
