B&Q Oil Filled Radiator

Advantages: Small, heats the fulll room, bargain price
Disadvantages: takes a whle to heat up

B&Q Oil Filled Radiator Bought one of these around 6months ago our heating wasn't going to be working for a couple of weeks so bought this for the bedroom. Went to B&Q as knew they had quite a selection didn't want a huge one as we don't really have much room in the bedroom. We bought it as a replacement for the halogen that we had been using which the dogs kept walking past and singing their tails in. It takes quite a while to heat up even when it is on full power but once it is warm it is more than enough to warm our bedroom up. It has various settings of heat so once the room is warm you can turn it down which is a really useful feature, the dial for doing this how ever does not have numbers on it and I do think it would benefit it if it did so you could turn it down a set amount and know which setting you usually use ...

Review of B&Q OIL Filled Radiator 1500W

Almost instant heat, plug in and off you go

Advantages: Cheap to buy, efficient and easy to use and install.
Disadvantages: No timer, electric heating is not the most cost effective

TESCO VALUE MINI OIL FILLED RADIATOR It seems rather fitting to be penning a review about a heater in early April with snow falling thick and fast outside! This compact radiator is ideal for providing heat in small areas, as the name implies it is a small appliance. The radiator is white in colour,so would blend in with most colour schemes. It is very light and easy to move around, being freestanding, not wall mounted. It produces a remarkable amount of warmth for a compact heater and is neat in appearance. It is small enough to stow away in a cupboard when not in use. The maximum wattage is 700w. and it comes with a fitted plug as standard. It is a basic radiator and as such, does not have a timer function or any fancy programmes. There are two heat settings and an on/off light so you know the radiator is plugged in. There ...

Review of Tesco Value MINI OIL Filled Radiator

Fantastic wall mountable radiator

Advantages: Very quiet thermostat click, great design even when wall mounted, heats up quickly
Disadvantages: Black power cable?! Only comes in 750 watt.

Fantastic oil filled radiator from argos for small/medium size rooms. Thermostat measures the air temperature turning the heater on and off accordingly. Looks like a traditional 750 x 650 mm wall mounted radiator. The heater is quick to heat up. From room temperature to hot to the touch takes about 5 minutes. The "box" on the side of the heater has the thermostat that has a quiet "tick" when it clicks on and off. There is also a large power switch to allow the heater to be switched off without changing the setting on the thermostat. It is supplied with wall mounting brackets which are easy to fit. The brackets have large "slits" which the screws fit through givng adjustment during installation, this allow you to make sure the wall brackets are hung level. Once the brackets are level can mark, drill, plug and screw in ...
