The rotary system means the food dips in and out of the oil in a rotary basket and is only in the oil for 50% of the time. It just doesn't work as the food is only hot enough to fry during half a rotation. Deep fried Brie melts as a result, everything else sticks to the bottom, and nothing gets hot enough to cook properly.
I bought this a week ago, have tried it all ways and I'm taking it back to Comet to try and change it for something that works. I love Delonghi products and bought this because of the brand and the features but it's a total dud.
