...Perhaps in future I will refer to ciao reviews before purchasing anything. I have just learnt by my experience. Having just purchased a Delonghi F603 deep fat fryer, believing Delonghi to be a reputable company, I am appalled by this fryer. In fact the item I have cannot really be called a fryer. It takes over 15 minutes to preheat, even then not reaching a frying temperature, merely slight bubbling, resulting in warm soggy greasy potato pieces, rather than chips. Despite turning the temperature control to maximum, and setting the timer to 30 minutes, even a small piece of bread dropped into the oil does not even brown. Either there is a technical problem with the particular one I bought, or this product is totally useless. Straight back to the store with it. AND I WON'T BE GETTING ANOTHER DELONGHI F603....
