... I find my DeLonghi oil filled radiator cheaper than a gas fire to run and it keeps the room warm. In fact I have just bought a couple more as I have electric heating and it works out cheaper to run these.
For anyone who doesn’t want to run central heating or who is trying cut heating bills the DeLonghi Electric Radiator is an excellent choice. It’s economical too.
My total electricity bill for last month was just ... ...use gas. I anticipate a rise of about 50% over the cold months. To me this is economical.
The radiators are easy to move around as they are on castors which is a plus. The timer can be set to come on and off as you wish. I would recommend these to anyone who has fairly small rooms to heat, or who lives alone and doesn’t want to heat a whole house all the time.

The heater is actually an oil filled radiator with six fins that along the length of it. The radiator heats up very quickly and can be set at 1 or 2 kilowatts depending on your preference.
It has a variable thermostat which has 6 settings and you can let it heat the room and then set the thermostat so that the temperature stays the same. This is very economical if you don’t open doors very often as the radiator throws out the heat even while it is off and only switches on again when the room temperature drops.
I also have a cheaper brand of oil filled radiator but it doesn’t stay hot as long and the thermostat doesn’t appear to work with the room temperature. I think it works on the radiator temperature. Cost wise, this cheaper model is much more expensive to run.

...the details I purchased a DeLonghi TRD0820T Dragon Range Oil Filled Timer Radiator 2Kw.
DeLonghi is a good brand and it cost £ 80 from a local independent high street retailer.
It has 2kW of power, which is more, then enough to heat a medium sized room it is in a style of a radiator probably for maximum surface and heat production with 8 oil filled radiator panels.
There are three heat settings, low is hot you can barely touch the radiator at ... ...levels, and the heater is very safe and sturdy and quite compact in size and design.
It has a Thermostat dial to keep an eye on the heat you are producing and at what rate if you want a slow or immediate heat source.
Apparently it has a unique design of Air Tunnel which enhances the convection of heat and makes it heat up 25%faster and while it is on it makes no sound it is silent which is more then can be said for my central heating system.
The ...
