"A Book, Movie, and Now a Video Game?"

Black Hawk Down started as a bestselling book and then came to a bestselling movie. But the only thing missing was a video game. Not any more. Just like the book and movie, Delta Force Black Hawk Down is also a bestseller. I can tell you, it deserves the title.
Delta Force is an ongoing series of games. This is the fifth game in the series. And this game blows all the others away. Black Hawk Down features an exellent story line and great gameplay. Whether it is single or muiltiplayer.
The single player campain is mixed with missions that actualy did happen and missions that were just made up. It is hard to tell which were real and which were not. In the single player campain you are in command of a special ops soldier. These soldiers consist of the 10th Mountain Division, Task Force Ranger, and the best of the best Delta. In most missions you will be able to control a team of soldiers. You can tell them what to do and use real room clearing tactics used by Delta. You can be equiped with a variety of weapons including the m16, car 15, Berret 50 cal. sniper rifle, anti tank weapons, and many more. With this arsenal of weapons you will feel like nobody can beat you.
After you get so good and beat the single player campain, Novalogic has another challenge for you, Novaworld. Now you can put your skills to the test and play against other oppnents online. Play against people from all over the world and battle in out, whether you on teamed up or on your own. Join a server or host you. It's your choice. Join a variety of games including Team King of the Hill, Team Deathmatch, and many more. If you don't like playing part of the team than don't. Play on a server where there is no teams.
Are you tirered of playing muiltiplayer with small same old maps? Not anymore! Play on huge maps that you don't know where they end. Servers will also create their own maps. You can do the same. You will never stop having fun.
Now you have heard a lot of the good points to Black Hawk Down. Now it is time for me to tell you some cons. Black Hawk Down is somewhat complicated. There are several basic keys to memorize to play exellent. Even though you can remap your keys, I have found that sometimes messes it up. Not that much but enough to make you angry. Your keys will not do all you want them to. I have emailed Novalogic about this problem and are still waiting for an answer. This is one of many bugs and glitches in the game. But back to the keys. The game comes with this thing you put over part of the keyboard to show you what the basic keys are and what they do. It is helpful for begginers. Soon though you will not need it at all, and you will become the master.
Bacically Black Hawk Down overall makes this my favorite game out of all the games I have played. I never get tiered of it. Despite the glitches and bugs Black Hawk Down is highly recommended by me.

Product Information : Delta Force - Black Hawk Down (PC)

Manufacturer's product description

Distancing itself slightly from the movie of the same name in terms of its story line, Black Hawk Down is nonetheless a gritty and challenging action title that's bursting with atmosphere and tension. The game is set in Somalia at the start of the 90s, featuring the exploits of troops as they're asked to succeed in increasingly daring missions. Branded as part of the Delta Force series, the game is actually a bit more action packed than earlier entries in the franchise, and frankly, it's all the better for it.Not a million miles away from Medal of Honor in its approach, it offers a series of missions that require a healthy cocktail of brainpower and firepower to complete. Various vehicles are brought into play from time to time, and these add a nice touch of variety. What Black Hawk Down does very well indeed is to set a relentless pace and create an utterly engrossing game world. Both on the graphical and audio side of things, it excels, and when you're trapped in the middle of a hostile situation and completely surrounded, it really does get the heart pumping. The action, particularly when it hits full throttle, is supremely enjoyable, and is sure to be enjoyed by fans of the genre. The minus column? Well, there are niggly flaws here and there. The AI, for instance, is a little random, and too often you find yourself beaten through no fault of your own. However, by focusing more on the action and less on the strategy, Black Hawk Down is arguably the best entry in the Delta Force series in some time, and is a mission well worth considering for first-person shooter fans. --Simon Brew Set in Somalia in 1993, Delta Force: Black Hawk Down is based upon and around the Operation Restore Hope and Task Force Ranger campaigns and follows members of the elite Delta Force and US Army Rangers as they participate in a number of daring raids against the Somali warlords in and around Mogadishu.
