Demon Seed - Dean Koontz

This book had me gripped from half way through the first chapter, i love the way the story line was about a security system in a house had a mind of its own and how it just needed a way out of the security system and into a human body to become real. It had me amazed how the security system in the house permanatly locked all the doors and windows, and would not let the woman out until she had done what she had been chosen to do, which was give birth to a baby, but the mind/bug that was in the system would be released from the system and it would take over a human form when the baby was born, the detail on how this was going to be performed was brilliant, and yet again dean koontz did wonders with his description of the house and his desciption of the characters, and the depth he went into when he was describing how the main character was feeling at the different stages of the book. You can really tell when it was heading for the climax of the story in this book and when it starts dyeing off again.
Brilliant.
