...Denon has always been the king of DVD players although not offering the cheapest option it does always offer a good product you can feel safe if the player you buy is Denon as you can be sure of a level of standards high than most other companies. If you are really into DVDs this is the one to get. But if you just want to be able to play DVDs just ge a cheap one as to the untrained eye there won't actually be much difference! ...The Denon is a relatively cheawp product that allows seamless and flowing DVD playback. It has supervideo playback system and an integrated user interface that allows users to easily navigate the device without using the remote control (if needed). The device may not be that well known, but the Denon range have been an active supplier in providing adequate products at a reasonable price. The Dolby AC3 sound system is a great beginner software tool that gives an amateur viewer a better look at playback options. However note that if you are a more experienced DVD Player user, this device is not the one for you. The price is by far the best advantage and in terms of attractiveness, the Denon is quite basic in design. Overall though, a great product for a first buyer!... Read review

...I have recently developed a liking for Denon products, and the opportunity to get hold of one of their DVD players at a reasonable price was too good to miss! This has all the usual features including MP3, DTS, Dolby Digital and some extras including Progressive scan. Clever features include a 2MB buffer memory which reduced the effect of layer change. The Audio playback is excellent as you would expect. Denon made their reputation on audio and they live up to it with this DVD player. The picture is also very good, but the S-Video performance could be better. For the money this is a superb buy and if your lucky enough to find one, grab it while you can. I paid £100 for this brand new off an Ebay retailer. Compare this to other DVD players for the same price and you will see the difference... Read review
