Dry stick leaves you feeling dry as a bone
Review of Sure Men Sensitive 24H Anti-Perspirant Stick by
cladach29
Advantages: Instantly dry, doesn't mark clothes
Disadvantages: Not good in hot climates, more expensive than other roll-ons
...here is part of the Sure Men range which in addition to "Sensitive" also includes sticks with subtly different perfumes such as "Cobalt"
---Packaging---
The 50ml product is packaged in a silver, metallic look plastic container with removable lid and has an inner plastic cover to protect the stick until its first use. It also posseses a twistable base so that as the stick wares down it can be pushed up higher until it's finished. The labeling is ... ...Sure brand. The word "Sensitive" is spelt out in green and this helps to distinguish it from other members of the range. Overall a good package, easy to find on the shelf and one which stands out from its rivals. The silvery plastic may also give it a more "upmarket" look which appeals to some.
---Product appearance---
Without listing all the ingredients, it is enough to describe stick anti-perspirants as a mixture of various fats/waxes compounded ...

Sticking with the Sure Invisible Stick
Review of Sure 24H Intensive Invisible Stick by
Lightpants
Advantages: Dry, easy to use, does what it says on the label
Disadvantages: Can't think of one...
...this morning, with my Sure Stick having run out, I decided to try my new roll-on - Sanex. Firstly, having just shaven said armpits, it did sting a little - I never get that with the Sure stick.. Plus, it took an age to dry (ensuing chicken flapping impressions to aid drying) - again, I never get that with the Sure stick. Then, getting into my office, I notice that the smell is more overpowering than the perfume I've applied - I never get that with ... ...the first place, Sure Invisible stick (all varieties) will remain an essential in my beauty bag for several reasons; Easy to apply, the smooth contoured shape of the deodorant stick glides on effortlessly. With a twisty bottom, there is no chance of dripping, and the contents remain secure as you go through the bottle. Have I put it on yet? Being a solid cream stick, you can apply it and almost immediately forget whether you remembered to.. why might ...

Thick stick
Review of Sure Activresponse Anti-Perspirant Stick by
danielalong
Advantages: Lasts all day and not at all cold
Disadvantages: Dreaded white marks
Having never had any loyalty to any brand or type of anti perspirant, I always grabbed the first which came to hand, and hoped for the best. What I did always dislike though was the coldness of liquid roll ons, and the time they took to dry, and spray deodorants seem to become a powder and drop off all over the floor. So, about 6 months ago, I bought one of these and have been buying and using them ever since.
THE PRODUCT
This comes in a normal ... ...the deodorant up and down. Take off the pull off cap and there is a little plastic protector- not to be confused with the deodorant which is underneath this!
The deodorant is a white solid block with a faintly perfumed smell, but not overpowering, and definitely not a smell which will fight against your normal perfume.
It is apparently activated by your body heat although the instructions give no indication as to how this is done, other than state ...

Lush Aromacreme
Review of Lush Aromacreme by
catsholiday
Advantages: Smells lovely and contain NO aluminium
Disadvantages: none for me
...with aluminium. I've tried the lush hard dry solid deodorant bars and although they smell nice they are difficult to apply. They hurt if you rub them under your arms, they suggest scraping powder off them with your nails - well not great really - you just get the stuff stuck up your nails. Anyway on my latest visit to Lush - the smell draws me in every time I pass it so inviting I swear- I was persuaded to try Aromacreme. It is quite a dry cream ... ...I just rub it under my arms as a solid block. it smells wonderfully fresh and 'Lush-like'. Not only perfumes your armpits with exquisite flowers and, ylang ylang oil it neutralises odours with absorbent powders and keeps your armpits soft with moisturising almond oil and shea butter base.. During the day as you warm up the only smell is pleasant and fresh and I feel confident that I am not offending anyone including me. I would thoroughly recommend ...

Sweet or Sweaty ?
Review of Lush Aromaca by
kalliemaile
Advantages: : Easy to apply, subtle fragrence, can be used afer shaveing with no stinging
Disadvantages: Its expensive, but otherwise this is a top prduct
I love Lush soap and reccently I have been exploreing the world of Lush and trying out non soap products, one such product is the Aromaco deodorant.
I have a nice little 20g piece of Aromaco which I got in a Lush sample pack, to stop it from drying out I keep it in a little zip lock bag in my dressing table as it is a moist bar rather than most deodorants which are liquid in a bottle.
Aromaco comes in blocks like the Lush soaps and is cut to size ... ...Aromaco as advertised on the Lush website are - Fresh Witch Hazel Infusion (Hamamelis virginiana) Propylene Glycol Sodium Stearate Chamomile Vinegar (Anthemis nobilis) Sodium Bicarbonate Patchouli Oil (Pogostemon cablin) Citral Limonene Perfume As you can see this deodorant contains Patchouli and according to Lush this is cooling and soothing , which I think is why the Aromaco deodorant is so effective. Lush have a habit of putting strange facts ...
