I had a Dermalogica facial last week and out of all the products used i asked which one the therapist would recommend i purchase, she suggested the daily microfoliant.
The entire Dermalogica range appealed to me because it is not tested on animals and seems to be pretty natural. I have never spent much money on beauty products before (the facial was a present), but my skin felt so nice during and after the facial that i was really impressed. My skin is quite sensitive and gets very dry with small patches of ezcema at times, so i was very pleased that nothing seemed to irritate my skin during the facial, which is why i bought the Daily Microfoliant.
It cost £31 at the salon, which is not bad for a salon but i know it can be quite a bit cheaper online. However i'm really pleased with it and in just 5 days my skin does look fresher & clearer. I have a few dry patches but i was expecting that as i am using something new.
I would recommend having a facial with a Dermalogica therapist rather than just buying what you think is right for you, because they use quite a few different products during the treatment. So you can see what you feel is comfortable on your skin and take their advice. You don't have to buy from them, but if you do and are not happy that the products have been appropriately recommended the goods do come with a guarantee (as long as they have been recommended by a Dermalogica professional).
The Daily microfoliant is a rice based powder and you just put 1/2 a teaspoon in your hand add a little water to make a paste and gentle rub into your skin. It has a very mild, pleasant smell and lathers up so you feel like your washing your face as well as exfoliating.
I would definately recommend this product and am sure i will be buying more products from the range soon, because this is as good as i would expect it to be considering the price.

Well i have been using this for 6 months now and i am only on my 2nd bottle, so it does last a long time. I am just as pleased with it now as i was back then, it has had a really good effect on my skin and is worth every penny! My skin is smoother, clearer and not nearly as dry as it used to be. I have also got the Pre-cleanse as recommeded (i bought it when i ordered my 2nd bottle of the Microfoliant) and that is also a great product- i don't use it every night just a couple of times a week before i use the microfoliant. I got my 2nd bottle from Amazon for £24 plus postage and the pre-cleanse, but it was stil a better deal than at the salon i went to (as you would expect).
