i was recommended this wash by a harvey nichols therapist. I explained I had sensitive skin and wanted to try and keep my 'few' spots (not acne) under control and what she would recommend. she told me this was for adult spots and less harsh than other products such as clearasil etc. so I trusted her - afterall she was a therapist in an expensive department store - but after 2 days of washign with this - my skin felt hot, tight and sore to touch. Next day i had over a hundred tiny whiteheads/pimples all over my face, in particular around my nose, upper lip and jawline. This mornign they are worse still. my face is much pain and Im scared these will scar me now. I called the store to complain (as I had lost my receipt) and they said the product will not be refunded or exchanged. So i have now emailed dermalogica hoping they can refund me or at least exchange for a more gentle prodcut. after reading others' reviews I see that this was 100%25 the wrong prodcut recommended for my sensitive skin. im so annyoed I wasted £29 on this to look like a teenager again wtih the most horrendous spotty, lumpy and bumy skin that feels like course sandpaper. Im due an importatnt interview sometime next week and I just hope my skin clears up by then. avoid this product!!!!
Advantages: made skin less greasy Disadvantages: price, completely changed texture of my skin, didnt work.
...of a set of the Dermalogica Medibac products. I have only been using it for 3 days with the other products in the kit and already it has made my skin considerably worse. I now have sore, rough skin around my nose and the same on my chin and have had a significant increase of small white heads appearing where they weren't before.
I have suffered from acne since my teens and am now coming to the tail end of it (or so i thought) and bought the Dermalogica ... ...Unfortunately it has done the opposite and my skin is worse than when I started. It has partially cleared up some of my larger spots but has brought out others and it has made my skin uncomfortable and itchy. I do not have sensitive skin but it may be that these products are too strong for me and so have caused an adverse reaction. I bought this product on the basis of reviews on this website so it obviously does work for some people but I would ...

I would not recommend this product if you have any kind of remotely sensitive skin. I disagree that it comes with precautions. I used the Cleaing Skin Wash once from a sample I received - there are no precautions on the packet and zero warnings not to use on sensitive skin. After only one use I have incredibly sore, raw, extremely pimpled, rashed skin. Very painful. Even my eyes are affected with puffed eyelids and crusty skin. It's sore to smile or touch. I would not recommend it to anyone no matter how bad your acne is this will make it worse.

You really should review these products before you buy them. I've been trained with thee products and there are precautions! With the MediBac and Age Smart ranges, you can only use these cleansers 3-4 times a week, as they are very potent and intense. This is because they are designed to work but not for daily use! They are treatments, not just cleansers.Special cleansing gel work well with the MediBac cleanser for most skin types whereas Dermal clay cleanser work well with it for oily skins on the other days you don't use this one.Be careful and do your research!

Advantages: None for me personally. Disadvantages: Drys skin horrendously, stings, irritates, produces more spots.
...I rushed out to the Dermalogica shop here in Helsinki and gladly forked over the 50 odd euros for my bottle of wonder gel. I've suffered right through my twenties with skin problems and a few years ago discovered Dermalogica and up until now it had held my breakouts at bay. But in the last couple of months the spots made a comeback for some unknown reason and I decided to try this new Medibac wash. I figured that, being Dermalogica it would be the ... ...with all of their other products. But now I have to say, I'm soooo regretting that decision. Yes, it cleanses your skin perfectly. my face, right after use feels fresh and clean and impurity free. The downside of it is that after only four days of use, I now have more spots than ever and as a nice added bonus, huge red scaly patches which look like chemical burns. My skin is irritated and sore and for hours after washing my skin prickles all over ...
