Dermalogica Mulit Active Toner can be used on any skin type. It comes in a useful pump action type bottle which you can spritz on. It is light, refreshing and hydrates your skin and smooths the surface. It has a pleasant smell and contains lavender, mint and arnica to help condition the skin and prepare it for more moisture absorption.
After cleansing you can spritz this spray all over your face and neck. You need to keep your eyes closed for this. Dermalogica then suggest that you follow this imediately with their moisturiser.
I use this product every day along with the anti bac facewash and moisturiser. As a teenager having been prone to acne I was brought this as a present. I was a little disaponited with my gift but after trying it I was really pleased as my problemed skin cleared up quite quickly and I knew it was down to the dermalogica. Whether this was the toner or the face wash etc etc I can not tell you.
What I can tell you about the toner is that it is really easy to apply- there is no need for cotton wool as you just squirt it straight on your face. It lasts for ages- I buy 250ml bottles and have not bought one in a year or so. That's how long it lasts. It does refresh you face, but it does feel a bit strange when you first start using it as you feel drips running down your face- it is not unpleasant though. However, do not get this pruduct in your eyes because it will sting. I know its crazy, but once I did forget and it was not that great- so make sure you don't forget.
I think this product is best used as part of a wash, toner and moisturiser routine. The great thing is that this toner is for all skin types and then you acn by other products to suit you- you do not have to have the same skin type as me.
Dermalogica is really expensive, but on the other hand you get more for your money when you buy the bigger bottles and they last so so long. So although it's an expense to begin you won't have to buy face products for ages and if they run out at different times you might not have to fork out for the whole lot at once.
You can also pick these up for better prices if you shop online. Don't buy the first lot you see. Have a look cos prices do vary and sometimes they have special offers on. Another thing to bear in mind is that dermalogica sell small travle version size kits with all of the suitable products for different skin types. If you are worried about spending the money and it not working for you, you could always buy one of these smaller kits- which will still last at least a month. This might give you the opportunity to test the products and find the right ones for you.
The other thing you can do- although I have never done this is go to a salon where they free of charge (usuall) will test your skin and tell you what skin type you have and therefore which products are best for you. You could then either buy them there or shop around to find the best deal.
