For those who have no experience of Dermalogica I'll give you a little background info. The range was originally designed by the founder of the Dermal Institute. She wanted a product range that was free of all the known irritants that triggered skin sensitivity in most people. She also wanted a range that would be recommended by a professional skin care therapist with the same care that a doctor would prescribe medication. Dermalogica do not sell directly to the public so consequently you can only get their products from beauty salons or their websites.
The packaging for the skincare products verges on the clinical and is confined to grey and white boxes containing white bottles or tubes with grey directions on. All the products are packed in a sterile environment and tamper proof seals appear on each product. The directions of use are very clear and further advice is either given or available from the salon when you buy. None of the range has a strong smell and in fact many of the products are odourless.
I bought it and haven't looked back since. If there ever was such a thing as a wonder product then this is it. It's gentle enough to use every day and unlike most other exfoliaters doesn't contain "scratchy" bits instead it uses BHA's (Salicylic acid) to gently exfoliate the skin and get inside the pores. It comes in the form of a powder and you simply add half a teaspoon of it to wet hands. Rub your hands together to form a creamy paste and massage it into your skin for about a minute. Then rinse off with clean, warm water. I use it daily in the evening and then follow it up with my toner and moisturiser. As with most of their products there is only a very slight smell which is quite pleasant.
Within 2 weeks of using this product my skin was brighter, smoother and much less oily. After 2 months I had virtually zero blackheads and it had started to fade out my old spot marks. Well worth the £20 and if you search around you can find some good deals on Dermalogica prices via the net. www.courtyardonline.co.uk offer a 10% discount on the RRP and also provide free samples with every order.
You can view full details of their product range and find your nearest stockist on the Dermalogica site www.dermalogica.com but they do recommend that you see a Dermalogica specialist to be correctly skin-typed.

I've heard really good things about this range but seems rather pricey to me! Lucie xxx

Bravo! That's much better. Now, while this is now VH the way to get the big money is to try for the Premium Fund. Check out the community tab at the top of every page and look for a few essays on what the PF is and how to write an op that will win it. Best of success here on Ciao!
Advantages: Natural Ingredients, Good Value for Money, Kind to Skin, Good Results Disadvantages: Quite Pricey, Hard to Find Apart from Online, Best Bought After Prescriptive Facial
