Every time it comes to summer I go crazy by trying to figure out what sun protection to use and where to find it.
I have very sensitive skin so if a product doesn't suite me oh boy it shows. Not only that but I've been blessed with an oily complexion (apparently ages well but a pain to look after). Because of that I can't just buy anything and get away with it so I have to make careful choices.
I have been using dermalogica products for about 2 years now and I find them to be generally reliable so I decided to had down to my local representative to see what they have available. After a long looking about I ended up with a solar defence kit for £21.95. It does sound expensive but it has four products including after sun lotion so it could be worse.

Until recently, I'd sworn by L'oreal foundations, and found these to sit well and last the day. However, as is the case with a lot of brands, the shades were always just a touch too light or too dark. I was drawn to Mac because of the range of shades on offer.
Perhaps it was just my experience, but I found the lady who served me in-store to be refreshingly blunt. Instead of the usual false air one encounters at cosmetic stands, she was extremely professional, while also flat-out telling me what didn't suit my skin tone, and also which type of foundation I should go for, based on my borderline oily skin. Again, I'm not sure if this was unique to the store I visited, but I found it extremely refreshing!

Now, I have never been that big a fan of Dermalogica products but I absolutely love Daily Microfoliant and also their Multivitamin Power Recovery Masque, I find their products very hit and miss.
