The product claims to remove even water proof eye make up quickly and efficiently without the need for rubbing. When you use this product it is best to apply it to some moistened cotton wool pads and then apply this directly to the eye lid. The product is very soothing and does not cause any irritation to the sensitive eye area. I have found that the best way to remove eye make up is to leave the pads against the eye for a minute or so before gently wiping away. The product feels refreshing and soothing on the skin. The consistency is gel like, yet not gloopy which also means that it can be quite cooling on the eyes without making them feel greasy or oily.
As I say, there was no irritation, which I have previously experienced with other products. However, I did not feel that it was as effective as some other make up removers which I have previously used. I found that I had to repeat the process twice and gently rub to ensure that I had removed all of my eye make up.
I would recommend this to anyone with sensitive eyes as it does not cause any irritation, however, it is not the most effective which I have come across. It is also rather expensive and therefore I would expect the performance to be slightly more superior than it was! I have not bought this product since as I feel it is better to stick to something cheaper.

...red and stinging however with Dermalogica this wasn't the case. It has a gentle fragrance and to be honest I even use these wipes when my eyes feel tired not necessarily just for makeup. When using it on my chapped lips i found that it also soothed and cooled them, the alcohol free solution is fantastic.
