I bought this product after being recommended it by a friend and it is definately worth the £15 price tag! It is a cleanser for face and eyes and aimed specifically at sensitive skin. It comes in a 237 ml / 8 oz bottle and has a push top opening so you don't need to faff about with screw tops. This is a very gentle (thickish) cleansing gel/cream, that can either be rinsed off or removed with tissue / cotton wool or a damp cloth. It is very effective at removing make up (even eye make-up and mascara although I'm not sure about waterproof mascara as I don't wear it). It's aimed at sensitive / reactive skin that is irritated by exposure to pollution, harsh climates, stress, hormonal imbalance, irritating cosmetic products and other environmental influences. Dermalogica Dermal Clay Cleanser

Advantages: Does what it says on the bottle
Disadvantages: Can be messy, longer to apply, menthol frangrance irritates my eyes.

I was first introduced to the Dermalogica range, by my beautician and tried a variety of their products, which are lovely to use, always light, mostly frangrance free and hypoallergenic (less likely to provoke an allergic reaction). Even at 38, I'm still prone to the ocassional break out, which is an absolute pain. Not only do my spots last longer, but having darker skin, I'm always left with a dark scar where the blemish was. I've been using Dermalogica's Dermal Clay Cleanser on and off for a couple of years, but found I lapsed, preferring to use a facial wipe, which is quicker. Dermalogica Clay Cleanser - Prayers Answered!

Advantages: Clears, softens & vitalizes skin
Disadvantages: Expensive

The clay cleanser was originally recommended to me by my cousin who had suffered severe acne in her teens and twenties. She is now free of sore lumpy acne prone skin thanks to this and the dermalogica anti-bacterial face wash. She like me, uses it to prevent and clear up the odd few spots. I have very sensitive skin therefore it is not uncommon for me to suffer a sudden flare up of painful spots. I use the clay cleanser most days and when these breakouts do occur (perhaps every 5 weeks or so) this product is excellent in calming them down. For best results you should massage it onto wet skin for approximately 3 minutes and wash off. What I like is how clean and soft it leaves your skin feeling.
