    My local designer shopping outlet is De Bradelei Wharf in Dover, Kent. It is a designer outlet centre with a difference being located in a unique maritime setting. De Bradelei Wharf offers top fashion house and designer label clothing for ladies, men and children, at up to 70% discounted prices, plus footwear, household, china and gifts It is a little like TK Maxx which many readers will be familiar with, but more organised! There are four De Bradelei shopping outlets in the UK, Dover, situated in Belper, Lutterworth and Nottingham. Goods are displayed in branded areas, rather like small shops ... more

    When I visited Mcarthur Glen in Bridgend I was really excited thinking I'm going to get a bargain. Well I had a couple of items like dishes and underware, but as for clothes they were all too small . I do'nt know if its me but I can buy size 14 in most shops and they fit, when I tried on that size in the designer room I could'nt get them over my bum. So 2 sizes higher later and they fitted. The answer is NO I did'nt buy them because I was embarrased . There are plenty of things like jeans t-shirts,jackets and skirts for young people. Thats because most of them are slim.     Disadvantages Disadvantages Don't go looking for something in mind...

    If you visit an outlet centre you are likely to be disappointed. If you have a certain pair of jeans/ certain type of jacket in mind - forget it. Outlet Centres provide the latest, but not best selling, items of clothing. The in-flow of clothes reflects the stock in hand. What sells in America, does not necessarily sell in the UK. So who's bothered? I love Liz Claibourne, and I love "(mainly) her "left overs". LC in the UK is excellent stock. It provides good quality clothing at an excellent price. However it may also be crap - stuff that doesn't sell elsewhere - so try it here. Ah Hah. Love ... more
