A good all-round computer for home and business Advantages: Size, Specification, quality and feel Disadvantages: None ...it came to buying the HP Compaq Business Desktop Dx2420 I was able to find all of these at a very reasonable price. The chassis / case is well made and has a good modern design, as for the specifications this model has an Intel Pentium 2.5Ghz processor & SDRAM 2GB Memory, which is more than enough to run all business applications and most modern games very well. The PC for today Advantages: Very quiet, very quick, and is easy to upgrade Disadvantages: Expensive, Dell Dock is annoying, instruction manual a pain ...wireless card as standard from Dell and me having no drivers for my old one required me to go buy a new wireless dongle. Other than that, the 545 comes with everything you could need. Internet Explorer 7, Windows Live Essentials, Microsoft Works and the Dell Dock as standard. The Dell Dock is already installed and active when you first boot to the desktop, and it is quite possibly the worst piece of software I have ever used, ever! It uses over 1GB ... ...saw that! However, once you have closed the dock, the whole computer is immediately quicker. I have the 19-in-1 card reader, and this is a nice feature, seeing as it has slots for my phone card (Memory Stick Pro Duo) and my camera card (XD Card), so I'm happy with that. Overall, the Inspiron 545 is a worthwhile pc to buy if you want to play some heavy duty games, and if you want a machine that works without a headache. I cannot make you buy it, but ... If you ask me I feel that this is a pretty expensive computer, great design and looks very stylish. When I look at this PC's configuration and price, I am wondering in which category would I put it.
