Review of Emachines 2210 by chalkiec

Advantages: The Fairly Cheap Price
Disadvantages: You Can Get Better PC's For A Cheaper Price

...is when you buy a Emachines 2210. About a year ago now i felt that i had enough money to update my personal computer that i have at my home. I was willing to spend around about £500 but i also wanted a printer. I was told by a friend to shop at P.C. because they had a sale on at that perticular time and i could probably get what i wanted. ****** What I Wanted ****** - I wanted a computer that would be able to play all the top games at the time, ...
...it to be able to store quite alot of music and other files, for example word documents. And finaly i wanted it to be relatively fast, so i didn't get frustrated with the speed. ****** What The 2210 Has ****** Intel Celeron 2.6GHz 128Mb DDR RAM 40Gb hard drive CD Rewriter drive 32Mb Shared graphics 6 x USB connections Microsoft Works 6.0 Microsoft Money 2003 Windows XP Home Monitor: 17" CRT Therefore, i felt that it was quite fast, especialy ... Good info for the second hand pc buyer
Review of Emachines 770 by gaycunttom666

Advantages: Good Solid Components
Disadvantages: Lack Of Ram, Poor Quality Input Devices

I have owned the eMachines 770 for nearly 2years 4months, it was originally purchased as a cheap student machine. It has served me well in the years i have owned it, i have replaced the minimal amount of things on this machine, mainly the keyboard, mouse and speakers that came with it as they were 'budget' alternatives that i found very 'flimsy'. The basics of the system are adequate for most of the basic pc use market, it is not meant to be a ...
...basic pc/internet user for browsing ect. As this system is now nearly 3 years old, the chances are that any potential buyer will be buying second hand, for college work or a low budget family system. If this is the case then i recommend that you shop around to find one with a RAM upgrade (higher than 256mb) possibly a new keyboard and mouse set, and if you would like it as a system to handle music and media, i suggest a speaker upgrade. ... Nice Machine - XPicky
Review of Emachines 330 by Michael151256

Advantages: Quick, cheap (cheaper now!), reasonable well equipped.
Disadvantages: XP operating system limits software options

e-machines 330 - 1Ghz, 20Gig,128Mb, 15" monitor,CD-RW/DVD. Nice machine, works fine, quick, speakers tacky, keyboard fair, mouse ditto. No real complaints other than it cost £800 and 14 days later PC World Dropped the price by £200. Ooops but these things happen. The biggest problem with it has been XP which is very choosy about what it will and will not run. The machine itself is all it should be. The monitor displays a good crisp picture, the ...
...could be better, the keyboard is a no-frills keyboard. XP is stable but there is so much software that is not compatible that it makes the machine difficult to use. Even little things like my wifes favorite screensaver will not run under XP. This makes what is basically a good machine into a not so good machine. I would be the first to admit that you can't judge a machine by the operating system but it does have an impact on how the machine performs. ... Read review

Review of Apple iMac Core 2 Duo 2.4 GHz - 20" TFT by owais997

Advantages: speed, sound, generous size monitor, Leopard OS
Disadvantages: Power/Sleep light missing

Duration of ownership:2 Weeks Strengths: Sleek and beautiful design, simple and elegant operating system, wireless keyboard and mouse Weaknesses: Power/Sleep light missing Overall Evaluation:I have used Macs (5th one) since mid-90s and have always appreciated their design and OS strengths. Overall, this is an great computer. Everything worked perfectly right out of the box without checking the manual. Considering what is included on this iMac, ...
...peripheral you need to add is a printer! You sure get a lot of features for the money.Price is always a concern, especially compared to PCs. With this model, they have added more "bells and whistles" and not raising the price.Apple has finally gotten its act together by redesigning the popular iMac. ... Read review

iMac Core 2 Due 20" TFT
Review of Apple iMac Core 2 Duo 2.4 GHz - 20" TFT by autonick

Advantages: Screen, Webcam, amazing processer speed
Disadvantages: With mine the Wifi can sometimes be an issue

...I bought it from the Apple store in London, where I must say the customer service is amazing and the staff had an answer to all my questions! Before this Imac I had an Ibook G4 which was the best thing since sliced bread, thats what made me want one of these. The IMac is all an all in one computer, all the bits are in the screen with only the keyboard and mouse separate. This makes it great for people with not so much space. This computer is very ...
...round, the whole unit is a sort of brushed aluminum colour and my favorite bit is the small brushed aluminum keyboard, which has nice sized buttons and a nice feel to it (ie not big and chunky keys) The IMac loads up in no time, unlike a Windows machine and within less than say 30 seconds you are ready to go. The screen is Massive, bright and very clear, and the graphics can easily handle online TV and gaming, I use mine to play World of Warcraft ... Read review
