Great multimedia machine.
Review of Sony VAIO PCV-V1 - P4 2.8 GHz - 15" TFT by
zeeboy
Advantages: Compact yet powerful. Excellent for MultiMedia
Disadvantages: Not really a gaming machine. No in-built wireless
...To be honest i think Sony have made these wireless more to complement the cool design of the PCV-V1 rather than for any practical reasons. A remote control is included which can be used to launch and operate the various multimedia functions remotely. It is a cool accessory and is great if you're watching a DVD or listening to music but again im not 100% convinced it is necessary
Most of the sockets 2xUSB, firewire, ethernet, ariel-in etc are located ... ...of the PCV-V1 on the Sony website.
The right hand side of the unit contains the CD/DVD player/burner and the power switch. The power switch glows a cool green or yellow depending on wether the machine is on or in standby. It looks great in the dark and is a nice touch.
The CD/DVD unit is one of those external loading ones that when pressed pops-out of the machine allowing you to insert cd's or dvd's. Once loaded you then push the tray back in. ...

Perfect starter PC
Review of Acer Aspire T130 - Athlon 64 3200+ 2 GHz by
Jammie_d
Advantages: Great performance for price, on-paper specification
Disadvantages: As mentioned above - heat, 754 socket, and speakers
...is fantastic for pre-spring2006 games. In conclusion, The Acer Aspire T130 is a brilliant starter PC. For the gamer on a budget, it is cheal and can be upgraded with ease. While becoming more dated by the minute, it is still very upgradeable.
A very stable and reliable PC ...

Advantages: the way you can flip it
Disadvantages: would be amazing if it had 2G RAM

my previous computer was a standard desktop, big heavy monitor.. (u get the picture)... it had to go.
i was looking around the shop and i saw this beauty. it was mesmerizing it was amazing the CPU, monitor ,speakers, all interfaces were all together smaller than my old comp. it has the most amazing features ever, you can flip it two ways to music mode and tv.... its a T.V!!!!!!!!
it has an amazing feature called "SRS ... ...to the freshest song on wmp and feeling the difference when i turn te SRS WOW on and off. the screen is brilliant and its 17.5" ... and great hardrive caaccity 160gb.. i definently recommend this to anyone who wants to hve a good computer in there house.
My advice indeed is that anyone buying or looking for a computer, should go for this, from personal experience i say its GREAT, AMAZING & REVAOLUTIONARY ...

Sony have done it again!
Review of Sony VAIO PCV-W1 - P4 2.8 GHz - 17.5" TFT by
KeeleyBaby
Advantages: All-in-one, sexy computer!
Disadvantages: Keyboard is attached, so have to be sitting very close to the computer.
I love this computer! When I was buying a new computer, I originally planned on buying an average desktop computer, but I walked in and saw this, and I fell in love! Everyone that walks in and see's it loves it just as much as me! But thankfully I wasn't disappointed because not only does it look good it performs brilliantly aswell!
This has a 17.5" widescreen TFT monitor, which makes it unusual to most others, and has a built in hard drives, so ... ...the screen and doesn't stand out too far either!
The keyboard is attached to the monitor, and when it folds in half , it transforms in to a TV station! It's easy to tune channels to aswell, and has a remote control, so you needn't get up, so you can watch DVD's and TV, this is particuarly handy in itself if you only have a small room! It's silver in colour which is always more appealing than the grey, cream and black designs! However, the keyboard ...
