Fujitsu Siemens ESPRIMO Edition P2511
Review of Fujitsu Siemens ESPRIMO Edition P2511 - Core 2 Duo E4300 1.8 GHz by gdogga

Advantages: good look, relatively cheap, dvd burner, 160gb hdd
Disadvantages: not enough RAM, processor isnt that good

I have this computer at home. its a great piece of machinery, although its a tad slow and i had the RAM double to now leave me with 2gb, i find that this processor, compared to that of the one in my office is slow. but for the price, this personal desktop computer is a bargain, it has great features, including a dvd burner, and a relatively large hard drive. the overall look of the computer is amazing, it looks like its worth a lot more money. building ... My review on Acers
Review of Acer AcerPower FH - Pentium D 925 3 GHz by thedarkened

Advantages: Fast, reliable, good graphics, excellent motherboard, runs silently
Disadvantages: Sometimes expensive

...these computers are; my latest acer is a 3 year old notebook and it has only totally broken down once, and that was due to a hard drive failure. They also tend to react and output data very fast, with low waiting times for opening several applications, and the graphics of the computer are that which can withstand the power-hungry games of today's world, such as World Of Warcraft or Call Of Duty 4. Also, Acers generally tend to run quietly, without ...
...can leave both of my Acer computers running through the night and I still get a restful sleep without waking up to any annoying noises. The motherboard in Acers are excellent in my opinion. They are very easy to change components e.g. upgrading your RAM or adding a new graphics card. The components are clearly shown where to put in on the motherboards, generally with bold white writing or bold green writing, depending on the colour of your motherboard. ... Read review

Dimension 1100
Review of Dell Desktop Dimension 1100 by LRDMan

Advantages: Cheap, simple to use
Disadvantages: Lack of power, poor expansion

...recently. This is where the Dell shows it's downside. As simple as it is, it provides very little workability for advanced users. After looking into the problem and attempting many fixes, I had no luck solving the problem - I could still watch no videos. The only solution would be to reinstall the operating system - something that is tricky on this computer, as no install disk is provided! I eventually resorted to acquiring my own install disk, ...
...the lack of expansion options. There are no true graphics slots (AGP or PCI-E), so the best dedicated graphics card I could fit was the nVidia 6200 PCI. This is a very basic card and does not allow games with advanced graphics to be played, which was a problem for me. There are no extra slots for further hard drives either. Overall, the system is very good for a basic user, particularly for families who require a simple, relatively cheap personal ... Read review

a great computer for the home
Review of Dell Desktop Dimension 3000 by alcatraz11111

Advantages: easily configurable (Dell website)
Disadvantages: Lousy monitor, average processor

...this machine (as with most dell computers). Dell's Web site offers a wide choice of options to suit your every need. If speed is important to you I suggest you configure this machine with a faster processor. However, the extra cost associated with a better processor will only be worthwhile if it is definitely required. If the machine is only intended for home use (email, online shopping, general surfing etc.) the processor already provided will be ... Read review
