Review of Dell Dimension 9200 - Core 2 Quad Q6600 2.4 GHz - 22" TFT by Gemma94

Advantages: Very Fast On Internet, Great Graphics
Disadvantages: Abit Noisy

Well.. I love this computer, ive had it for about 6 months now and its fantastic! I dont know about all the technical stuff, sorry! To start with, it comes with windows vista home premium which is fantastic and very easy to use. Its also fabulous graphics! It goes very fast on the internet which is great, but it takes a while to start up. If you are looking to buy a new computer because you have an old one, this wont seem slow to start up to you, ...
...I generally just put mine on sleep mode overnight and whenever im not on it, its silent just like it is turned off and takes 2 seconds to start up. It has a very big memory, i have endless songs and photos saved on it with no problem with space at all. If you are new to computers, this would be great for you because it is so easy to use and understand. Sometimes it is abit noisy when it is turned on but i solved this by squishing a thick book ontop ... Read review

hp m7480.uk
Review of HP Pavilion Media Center TV m7480.uk-a - Pentium D 940 3.2 GHz by jbh1977

Advantages: ideal all round PC for work games and home entertainment
Disadvantages: dosent come with a dial up modem

I've had my HP m7480.uk for over 2 years now its been running vista ultimate for the last year which it has been running faultlessly it has the Intel Pentium D 3.2 dual core processor, 2046mb of ddr2 ram which cope with multi tasking and video editing perfectly. the removable 300gb media drive is good for transferring data and backing data up safely the internal drives consist of 180gb sata c.drive and a 200gb sata d.drive which can be good for saving ...
..., radio card works brilliantly which is helped along with the 512mb nvidia geforce 6200gt gpu which copes with most gaming issues that you can throw at it. the system deals with most tasks that I've thrown at it i do a lot of video editing which it deals with smoothly. the only draw backs i have discovered is the standard wireless mouse uses its batteries quickly and for users wishing to send a fax or use dial up it dosent come with a dial up modem ... HP Pavilion E6600 Core 2 Duo 2.4 Ghz Review
Review of HP Pavilion Media Center TV m7775.uk-a - Core 2 Duo E6600 2.4 GHz by anipilot

Advantages: Capable of Handling heavy applications on Vista
Disadvantages: Bulky system cabinet, Recovery CDs to be created from HD partition.

This pc comes with wireless mouse & keyboard which are not intutive to set up but not the hardest. The monster processor Intel Viiv E6600 works its wonders when working with a processor heavy operating system such as Vista. A decent 2 GB RAM does not stutter any resource heavy software. The lightscribe DVD is also an excellent innovation letting you burn you label on the flip side of a DVD although its can only do this on "lightscribe" compatible ...
...for a game like Flight Simulator. Finally the 400 GB hard drive can never get full unless you are using it as a picture / video server. The PC can also be used as a TV. The only bad thing is that there are no recovery CDs and these have to burnt manually using the software and recovery partition on D drive ... Read review

Powerhouse, budget gamer's dream!
Review of Dell XPS 420 by BoyEngland

Advantages: Can play the latest games, fast boot-up, reliable, runs cool, runs quietly
Disadvantages: Price is a little steep, not all games are compatible with Quad Core processors

...built XPS 420 directly from Dell which contains a 2.40GHz Quad Core processor, 4GB RAM, an Nvidia GeForce 9800GT, and all the other good stuff a computer needs. I ordered it late night on a Sunday, and I had it setup and working by the Thursday. Best of all? Shipping was free! Between pressing the power button and the computer being ready to use, you are looking at around 30 seconds. This includes me entering my password to log on. I see this as ...
...hadn't been for the current Dell offer and a discount code I had at the time. I will admit, I wouldn't have paid £920 for the system, no chance! Since starting the computer for the first time, I haven't had a single problem with it that wasn't caused by a faulty disk or my lack of patience. I would recommend it to anyone, even gamers. ...
