Great little Pc
Review of Acer Veriton M460 - Core 2 Duo E4500 2.2 GHz by
mop591
Advantages: High speeds
Disadvantages: Very bad graphics, not a gaming pc
This is a great pc for business. Its 2.2Ghx dual core cpu (4.4Ghx total speed) with a 2mb Cache combined with the 1GB of RAM provides a very fast, reliable machine able to cope with many demanding programs running at one time. It also comes with microsoft office 2007 and windows xp software included and with a 160GB hard drive to store all your data.
Despite its power to cope with many programs it is very poor if you are looking for a gaming pc, ...

THE BEST OF BOTH WORLDS!!
Review of Acer Aspire E700 - Core 2 Duo E6300 by
clairearcher
Advantages: Multi-media PC & Home / Office PC all in one
Disadvantages: Future memory upgrades may be costly
...when saving them. With my Acer the time taken to both save and open files in vastly improved. The speed of the drive (admittedly this is a combination of HDD / CPU / RAM) is very noticeable when Windows initially starts up. the PC is ready to use virtually strait away despite having to run anti-virus and various other programmes that run at start up. The operating system used is the new Windows Vista Home Premium edition. Just to add my little bit ... ...
As explained earlier, Acer have designed this PC to offer the best of both worlds. For every day, home or business use the E700 is a very fast and stable PC.
I will now move on to the many Multi-media features offered by the PC.
To start with the graphics performance is very impressive. Acer have used the NVIDIA Ge-force 7600GS graphics card inside the PC. NVIDIA have a long established reputation ...

Good Budget PC, but not for gaming!
Review of Dell Inspiron 530 - Pentium Dual Core E2140 1.6 GHz - 17" TFT by
yatzue
Advantages: Good value, runs most common apps well
Disadvantages: Struggles with high intensity graphics apps and games
...nothing special here, quite typical Dell styling - neat and clean, but not particularly eye catching!
Finally, high intensity programs such as professional design apps and games, this PC will simply not cope! Personally I would not recommend Dell for this as, having used a number of different models, come no where close to a custom built PC for the same price. ...

Apple iMac Core 2 Duo 2.4 GHz - 20" TFT
Review of Apple iMac Core 2 Duo 2.4 GHz - 20" TFT by
owais997
Advantages: speed, sound, generous size monitor, Leopard OS
Disadvantages: Power/Sleep light missing
Duration of ownership:2 Weeks
Strengths: Sleek and beautiful design, simple and elegant operating system, wireless keyboard and mouse
Weaknesses: Power/Sleep light missing
Overall Evaluation:I have used Macs (5th one) since mid-90s and have always appreciated their design and OS strengths. Overall, this is an great computer. Everything worked perfectly right out of the box without checking the manual. Considering what is included on this iMac, ... ...peripheral you need to add is a printer! You sure get a lot of features for the money.Price is always a concern, especially compared to PCs. With this model, they have added more "bells and whistles" and not raising the price.Apple has finally gotten its act together by redesigning the popular iMac. ...
