...decision in investing in an HP computer as it has been extremely reliable and has yet to go wrong which is always nice. I'm sure at some stage it will go wrong, but at the moment I'm happy with it and the performance doesn't seem to have dropped in the slightest since the moment I bought it. Advantages: Large RAM and fast processor means it will play the latest gmaes
Disadvantages: No fire wire ports

This machine is very powerfull the large RAM combined with a top of the range graphics card means that you should have no trouble playing the latest games and using it for graphical tasks. The large hard drive means that you wont run out of memory any time soon. Even though the machine dosnt have a fire wire port it compansates by having 7 usb2 ports allowing you to connect mp3 players and all other sorts of devices that require a fast connection ... Dell XPS 700 I have had the Dell XPS 700 for about 2 years and its still in good working condition! Although i bought the newer verson 2 days ago Dell XPS 730! ...too! It was the first Dell XPS desktop i ever got and its one of the best computers i have ever got! It came with Dell speakers and subwoofer and a 15'' monitor! The only bad thing about it is that its really big and is realy noisey!!! But apart from that it is a really good computer! Disadvantages: Struggles with high intensity graphics apps and games

...nothing special here, quite typical Dell styling - neat and clean, but not particularly eye catching! Finally, high intensity programs such as professional design apps and games, this PC will simply not cope! Personally I would not recommend Dell for this as, having used a number of different models, come no where close to a custom built PC for the same price. ... Read review
