Purchasing this was a bit of an impulse buy for me, i had just been paid and i wanted a new PC, when i saw this i thought what a great spec it was for the money. £288 is all i paid for it. That is including staff discount so to the average buyer it would be £320. Still a great price to pay for a PC like this. ...impressed that it is a 64bit athlon and that is is capable of running vista. The onboard graphics are a bit of a let down but after a payment of £65 i received a beautiful mid range graphics card to improve performance, i love games!!! Also now it is capable of running vista ultimate which i will be buying 1. when i have the money and 2. when i have bought some more memory for it. i could now really do with removing some of the crap i've put on it ... I needed a desktop computer so I scouted about and came up with the Dx5150, I measured my desk to make sure it would fit then I ordered one online. It's a very smart and like with many computers it's very quiet, it comes ith 512MB of memory which was a nice feature, normally pc's only come with 256MB. Also because this is a business PC it comes with Windows XP PRO. The hard drive is a SATA drive which is now becoming the new standard in computers ...
...Installing the PC was dead easy, conencting to a router was easy, it found it straight away. The back of the PC has a nice bank of 6 USB ports so you can plug all your devices in. The front has a headphone socket, Mic socket and 2 USB ports and above the ports is a flap you can remove to install a floppy drive or a media card reader if you wish. This machine is very powerfull the large RAM combined with a top of the range graphics card means that you should have no trouble playing the latest games and using it for graphical tasks. The large hard drive means that you wont run out of memory any time soon.
