...is perhaps unfair to criticise HP for a Microsoft product, but is part of the purchase price. I have found that it tends to crash and slow down at the most ridiculous times, and it gets incredibly irritating. Rather than staying away from it altogether though, just wait for the next service pack. I bought the Dell Inspiron 531 for just under £400. I suppose depending on what you need is the only way to tell you if this is a good product.
