Fortunately, Simply allow you to customise these machines and will happily fit almost any extra gizmos you want, or remove anything you don't think you need. I customised my machine to 1GB of RAM and added a DVD-writer to the standard equipment, and the price for these improvements was very reasonable. I have just invested in a new pc for myself at home. It is 20 times more pwerfull then the one i first bought in 1998, and will probably be only half as good as the next generation or step up the technolgy ladder in 6 months time.
