Inspiron one 19
Advantages: small footprint, built in speakers, webcam, card reader, fast Disadvantages: probably not for gamers
...7 is excellent. Has Dell Dock application a bit like on an iMac. Extremely quiet, almost noiseless Sure it would have been nice to have a wireless keyboard and mice. In fact there are no extras or upgrades that can be ordered with the system and I guess it cannot be upgraded later. ...

Amazing, the only all in one you will ever need/want - iMac.
Advantages: Speed, Design, iSight, Runs quietly. Disadvantages: Price, Lack of programs available.
What makes it so likable? If you're looking for a new desktop or even a laptop, the iMac is for you. From the amazing specs to the general usage of the iMac are all amazing. In my opinion, the iMac is one of the most powerful pieces of technology I have used. It makes everything so simple. Advantages - In Detail * Mac OS makes everything so simple to do with easy instructions. * Spotlight search makes anything easy to find on your ... ...range of funny effects are good to use. * Everything is already built in to the OS, you don't have to purchase seperate packages such as "Home basic" and "Premium". * The iMac runs very quietly. Disadvantages - In Detail * The most obvious being the hefty price tag with which you can get a Windows PC with better specs with. * Some programs and software aren't available for macs. * You can dent/chip/scratch the iMac by just looking at it. ...

Great machine. Quickly deilvered. Very quiet and very powerful.
Advantages: Very quick, whisper quiet, sleek compact design Disadvantages: Can't have a 3rd HDD
As a professional photographer I use this to do all my imaging needs.
From the point of order through to delivery I cannot fault Dell. Decent upgrade options when configuring and using my 5% disount made a difference. I upgraded the processor, the RAM and soundcard which I'm so glad I did.
Took just under two weeks to be delivered and less than an hour or so to have setup. Works well on Windows 7 and Photoshop runs very nicely now. I have been ... ...running an antivirus scan all at the same time without any issues. Out of the box everything is pre built and it is very straight forward to setup. The thing that took the longest time was the windows update but after a couple of restarts we were all good to go. I didn't buy a monitor during the configuration as it worked out cheaper to buy it seperately for some reason and I'll review the monitor's seperately. ...

A little gem, and quite a good specification for the price
Advantages: All in one form factor, easy connectivity, 'proper' keyboard and mouse Disadvantages: No Wi Fi and restricted USB ports
...system altogether.
Dell have every chance of having a winner on their hands though.
There is possibly *one* reason why all-in-one systems haven’t caught on; whereas a mainstream desktop unit can be made of industry standard components (many of which can be supplied from a variety of sources) an all in one has to take the same design approach as a notebook; custom fabrication of the main parts, and have virtually no upgrade path without a complete ... ...be (unkindly) suggested that the Dell Inspiron One is a system for people who don’t like PCs.
The base model system comes with a 2.2GHz/800MHz Intel Celeron 450 processor with 512k of cache, Windows 7 Home Premium, 3Gb of 800MHz DDR2 memory, a 320Gb SATA hard drive, Intel GMA x4500 graphics, an 18.5” widescreen, a wired keyboard and mouse, 16x DVD R/W drive, an internal webcam, built in speakers, and a reasonable software bundle.
All for £399 plus ...

Strange kettle of fish but an ideal second PC
Advantages: Minute, basic PC functionallity Disadvantages: Limited performance especially in BBC iPlayer
The Acer Revo R3600 is a slightly odd kettle of fish and in some ways is a solution looking for a problem!
The original desktop PC configuration; Base unit, wired keyboard and mouse, and a monitor hasn’t changed much in 25 years – unless you count putting the base unit on it’s side!
A number of notable exceptions have been to create the ‘all in one PC’ which unite the processor and display – most notably the original iMac in the 1990s – Sony dabbled ... ...you may already have.
Acer have responded to this by taking a sideways look and coming up with the ‘nettop’ PC.
In terms of hardware, it owes rather more to the currently very trendy ultra-portable ‘mini PC’s known as ‘netbooks’ – except this one does away with the built in keyboard mouse and screen.
Why? – good question!
Well; the reason is often staring you in the face every day in the living room!
The astonishingly quick adoption of relatively ...
