It's still my current computer
Review of Dell Dimension 2350 by dai_dai_low

Advantages: Very Good Specs
Disadvantages: Slow Inrternal Navigation

The specs on this computer are really worth the money now for it. The computer has now been brought down to about £250 in the shops so it's quite good as a first off computer for people who want to learn how to use and computer and browse the internet and so forth. The 60GB HDD drive is awesome to hold your own data on however I now have two hard drives in this computer (so that means you can add on hard drives!) and therefore you can increase the ...
...2.2 Ghz is good for simple tasks such as browsing and downloading data onto your computer. You can instal a better intel celeron processor if you want to do more complicated tasks such as downloading at a far more faster speed off different sites. The RAM is adequate for the use of this computer too. again it's only for simpler tasks more RAM is good for when burning CD's onto disk a lot. A big disadvantage to this computer is the fact that you ... Read review

Review of Dell Dimension 4550 by fosbrook6695

Advantages: Good for surfing the internet
Disadvantages: Slow at times and tacky casing and freezes alot

...drive. I spoke to dell on their live chat on their website about upgrading the RAM and they were excellent, very helpfull and i didnt have to wait long to talk to an adviser. Its great for USB ports, it has 6 in total, 4 at the back and 2 that are hidden under a flap which helps conceal the wires! Good computer overall but bit slow ... Read review

Is it worth the money??
Review of Dell Dimension 8300 - P4 2.6 GHz - 17" CRT by rd123

Advantages: powerful CPU, easy to use, large screen.
Disadvantages: support from dell, it frezes after around 2 years. short warranty

The Dell Dimension 8300 is a very user-friendly computer. It is great for kids and adults! It comes with a 12" screen, microphone and external speakers. The range of features is vast: - Crystal clear pictures on the 12" screen. - Easy to setup. No need to hire a technician. -Cd-writer. -DVD playback. -Very sensitive roller ball mouse. -Flat screen monitor. -Looks good as a set because everything is black or silver. -4 USB ports (2 in the ...
...and headphones. (2 in the back for -surround sound speakers and 1 in the front for headphones. -3.5" floppy drive. -Built in Windows XP home. -Built Inintel Pentium 4. -300 MHz processor speed. -512 Mb Ram. I have this computer and have had to change my hardrive twice in its 4 year life. It is very easy to use. Kids find this computer very easy to manage and it has enough storage for all their games and my work. This computer is not the quickest ... Read review

Dell computers are APPALING by anyones standards
Review of Dell Dimension 2400 - P4 2.4 GHz - 17" CRT by Jason2006

Advantages: No advantages of having a Dell computer
Disadvantages: Everything

Dell is one of the leading computer manufacturers but still they don't make their computers for the advanced users. The Dell Dimension has a 2.4Ghz Pentium 4 processor (without HT technology!), a pathetic 40Gb hard drive, and a pathetic 256Mb stick of RAM. I will say this computer is ok for a beginner but for anyone wanting more from your pc, never buy a Dell computer in your life. Read on and you will find out why. My experience with the Dell Dimension ...
...about them. I got my Dell Dimension 2400 for a Christmas present about 3 years ago and I will be honest with you I was very pleased with it at the time but as time went on and I got a lot more experienced and older I wanted more. I had many problems with the computer; the motherboard does not have an AGP slot for the new graphics cards that are out now. The processor does not have hyper threading technology so it is not as fast as it can be at processing ... Read review

The Dell Dimension 4300
Review of Dell Dimension 4300 by victorb

Advantages: Fully customizable, cheap and very fast.
Disadvantages: Bad news for other computer manufacturers

To describe the Dell Dimension 4300 is hard to do, considering that most of them built are completely different depending on users needs. When you purchase a Dell Dimension 4300 off of the dell web site you will be asked many questions about it like what size of monitor you would like, what size and the number (up to 4) of hard drives you would like, the operating system, graphics card, speakers, keyboard and anything else that you can think of. ...
...the whole system. Dell do this rather than sell the complete systems because components inside computers go out of date so quickly these days, epically if they are sitting in shop shelves for months on end so the computers aren’t built until you pick what you want in it so they are always up-to-date. In my college we have about 100 of these computers and they are very fast, especially when loading up. The operating system on the computers is windows ... Read review
