...bought a second PC from Evesham - an Origin PC with AMD Duron 650 processor. That has also worked faultlessly ever since. The only call I made to their technical department was a query I had about the motherboard and the maximum processor speed I could use on it(both were answered). Bells and whistles galore

Advantages: Good combination of bits well put together
Disadvantages: Noisy fan, limited software supplied

Evesham nightmare

Advantages: None I can think of!
Disadvantages: Loads!

When I got my Evesham computer just under a year ago I immediately had problems! The CD Writer produced poor results, the system locked up and crashed. Phoning their customer support is a nightmare. You hang on endlessly until you may if you are lucky get hold of an operator. The person on the other end of the phone is obviously trained to be rude, abrupt, and making sure the blame is placed on the user. Any faults must be the software and is therefore ...
...isn't covered, unless you use their separate £1 a minute phone line (clever of them!). Eventually after reinstalling the operating system myself and dumping all their supplied software did I get a reasonably stable machine. Now almost a year on the hard drive is dieing on me. Amazing, the only all in one you will ever need/want - iMac.

Advantages: Speed, Design, iSight, Runs quietly.
Disadvantages: Price, Lack of programs available.
