Hp Computer
Review of HP Compaq Business Desktop dc7800 - Core 2 Quad Q6600 2.4 GHz by Jar_Dude

Advantages: Very clean, easy use system.
Disadvantages: A little pricy.

Hp is the best computer brand to date. Hp is the most user friendly, most customizable, and also the most stable. I have never heard of a bad review about Hp before. Definitely recommend Hp to a friend. Hp seems to last the longest out of any Pc. Hp customer care is very genuine and you always get a live person. There are a number of things you can customize, the chassis (body) with different sizes, designs, and a number of different styles. Prices ... Read review

Excellent machine
Review of HP Compaq Business Desktop dc5750 - Athlon 64 X2 4200+ 2.2 GHz by bllward

Advantages: Good value for money, Strong specs
Disadvantages: Vista

...word I can use for HP is trust. I never have serious issues with HP servers or workstations. This workstation is very solid looking, if a bit bland. It has a good quality feel and seems bullet-proof! It has an incredibly powerful processor and a decent amount of Ram, which is what makes all the difference when doing work. Dare I say it, but put a decent graphics card in an you would have a decent gaming machine! This is a business workstation, ...
...is perhaps unfair to criticise HP for a Microsoft product, but is part of the purchase price. I have found that it tends to crash and slow down at the most ridiculous times, and it gets incredibly irritating. Rather than staying away from it altogether though, just wait for the next service pack. Interestingly, the machine scores 3.2 in the Windows Vista performance test, which is a pretty good score for a workstation. Very good value for money, ... Read review

Apple iMac Core 2 Duo 2.4 GHz - 20" TFT
Review of Apple iMac Core 2 Duo 2.4 GHz - 20" TFT by owais997

Advantages: speed, sound, generous size monitor, Leopard OS
Disadvantages: Power/Sleep light missing

Duration of ownership:2 Weeks Strengths: Sleek and beautiful design, simple and elegant operating system, wireless keyboard and mouse Weaknesses: Power/Sleep light missing Overall Evaluation:I have used Macs (5th one) since mid-90s and have always appreciated their design and OS strengths. Overall, this is an great computer. Everything worked perfectly right out of the box without checking the manual. Considering what is included on this iMac, ...

iMac Core 2 Due 20" TFT
Review of Apple iMac Core 2 Duo 2.4 GHz - 20" TFT by autonick

Advantages: Screen, Webcam, amazing processer speed
Disadvantages: With mine the Wifi can sometimes be an issue

...I bought it from the Apple store in London, where I must say the customer service is amazing and the staff had an answer to all my questions! Before this Imac I had an Ibook G4 which was the best thing since sliced bread, thats what made me want one of these. The IMac is all an all in one computer, all the bits are in the screen with only the keyboard and mouse separate. This makes it great for people with not so much space. This computer is very ...
...round, the whole unit is a sort of brushed aluminum colour and my favorite bit is the small brushed aluminum keyboard, which has nice sized buttons and a nice feel to it (ie not big and chunky keys) The IMac loads up in no time, unlike a Windows machine and within less than say 30 seconds you are ready to go. The screen is Massive, bright and very clear, and the graphics can easily handle online TV and gaming, I use mine to play World of Warcraft ... Read review

ibm does good again
Review of Lenovo ThinkCentre M55 8795 - Pentium D 925 3 GHz by atytyut2434

Advantages: ibms past record
Disadvantages: poor choice of graphics port

I've got one of these, in fact I'm writing this review on it right now. I bought it at my local auctions 2 years ago & I'm still getting great use out of it. It looks sleek with its all black case, keyboard & mouse. It's really easy to do upgrades on as it requires no tools to open the case or remove any parts. I upgraded the dvd-rom in mine to a rewriter & it took minutes to do & was as quick to get running & burning with. It might not have a ...
...games pretty well. I've been able to play both Quake 4 & Half Life 2 at fairly decent speeds. The port to fit a graphics card is a slightly annoying issue as it's intended for a standard PCI card & I was expecting to find an AGP port but I guess thats the price you pay for buying what was only ever intended to be a business machine. On-board sound is very good, the 1gb of RAM that comes as standard is more than enough for what I use it for. It ... Read review
