Advantages: Very stylish, reliable high specification PC
Disadvantages: HP software not really needed.

The hp dc7800 is a brilliant consumer product, i currently work for a computer firm and we have had quite a few HP deskyop PCs brought in and installed for our clients. The Hp desktops are very reliable and speedy machines, they tend to come complete with manufacturer software such as:- - Roxio CD/DVD creator - HP system software manager - HP protest tools security software The hp software is not really needed but the roxio cd/dvd creatpr is ...

HP COMPAQ.
Review of HP Compaq Business Desktop dc5800 - Core 2 Duo E8200 2.66 GHz by oki82

Advantages: PERFORMS WELL
Disadvantages: COSTLY.

The hp Compaq stunned my mind when I heard its ability to deliver proven technology. I have some influence on deciding on which type of computer hardware or software to purchase in office. The PC device comes with dual core technology type and the dual core simply means that the PC is capable of having more than one processor and it has advantages over those PCs that have only one processor because it is quite faster and can process numerous in ...
...use for my office work. HP has proven their competence on making computer hard wares including printers that I regard one of the best in the market currently. Well getting this in my household would cost me quite some money because this is an office use. Since I am now in need of such PC, I think of making savings for it. Its company manual description is detailed very well and quite easy to understand and use. From what I have read from the manual, ... Read review

No disadvantages - so far...
Review of Dell Inspiron 530 - Pentium Dual Core E2140 1.6 GHz - 17" TFT by Stanislav69

Advantages: double proccessor, never overheats, very quiet, selection of grpahics cards, enclosed in silver casing
Disadvantages: none

The Dell Inspiron 530 was a birthday present for me and is a very stylish and new computer. This computer is very stylish because of the silver casing which covers the actual black computer box its self. Bothe DVD and optional blue ray disc drives are hidden making it look plain which also makes it look very neat and tidy. The Dual Core processor is capable of much more than it seems. All though Core 2 duo would be much better, the PC is able to ...
...that the 1.4Ghz is doubled meaning that the total output is actually a big 2.8Ghz! (reliable source - My dad who works for an IT buisness as a programer). There is also a selection of graphics cards to choose with this proccessor if bought online from dell. This computer makes little noise and is very quiet compared with my mums Packard Bell computer which has only a Pentium D proccessor. There are no disadvantages to this computer so far and I ... Excellent machine
Review of HP Compaq Business Desktop dc5750 - Athlon 64 X2 4200+ 2.2 GHz by bllward

Advantages: Good value for money, Strong specs
Disadvantages: Vista

...word I can use for HP is trust. I never have serious issues with HP servers or workstations. This workstation is very solid looking, if a bit bland. It has a good quality feel and seems bullet-proof! It has an incredibly powerful processor and a decent amount of Ram, which is what makes all the difference when doing work. Dare I say it, but put a decent graphics card in an you would have a decent gaming machine! This is a business workstation, ...
...is perhaps unfair to criticise HP for a Microsoft product, but is part of the purchase price. I have found that it tends to crash and slow down at the most ridiculous times, and it gets incredibly irritating. Rather than staying away from it altogether though, just wait for the next service pack. Interestingly, the machine scores 3.2 in the Windows Vista performance test, which is a pretty good score for a workstation. Very good value for money, ... Read review
