Review of Apple iMac Core 2 Duo 2.8 GHz - 24" TFT by Scalawag

Advantages: Stable OS platform, fast, powerful, and looks absolutely stunning.
Disadvantages: Cost but you do get what you pay for

...not difficult to sort out, apple store sorted it out within 30 secounds of me speaking to their staff. Great all round experience. I have upgraded the ram to 4Gb, I found loads of better deals than the upgrade offered by apple (its a bit extortionate when you see how much cheaper the same memory can be obtained elsewhere). Memory was easy to replace took me about 3 mins. This is the only upgrade for this system so no future mucking about with new ...
...system! The system itself is lightning fast, comes with iLife which will cover most of your needs, I also bought iWork for an extra £55 which is kind of like office but looks much better and still does what most users will need. I still have a PC laptop, but can't wait to change it for a mac also. Can't see me ever going back to a PC now, the Mac experience is just so much more complete and so much less frustrating. ... Fujitsu Siemens ESPRIMO Edition P2511
Review of Fujitsu Siemens ESPRIMO Edition P2511 - Core 2 Duo E4300 1.8 GHz by gdogga

Advantages: good look, relatively cheap, dvd burner, 160gb hdd
Disadvantages: not enough RAM, processor isnt that good

I have this computer at home. its a great piece of machinery, although its a tad slow and i had the RAM double to now leave me with 2gb, i find that this processor, compared to that of the one in my office is slow. but for the price, this personal desktop computer is a bargain, it has great features, including a dvd burner, and a relatively large hard drive. the overall look of the computer is amazing, it looks like its worth a lot more money. building ... Review of HP ProLiant DL380 G5 Base - Dual-Core Xeon 5160 3 GHz by andycharger

Advantages: Reliable, powerful, robust

...this way and using the HP Raid utility during setup (which is included) you can literally configure your drives to behave in any way possible. Whether its the redundancy of Raid 5 you want or the mirroring ability of Raid 1, this does it all. PERFORMANCE Out of this world. It is so stable and so quick to start up. Its like lightning. We use our server to offer additional protection to our virtualised servers. This means we have 3 or 4 software ...
...under warranty with HP and after calling their help desk it is a recognised problem and a new power supply will be with us tomorrow. I have also ordered a hot spare redundant power supply to slot into the spare power supply slot. This has cost £105 plus the shipping. ... Read review

No disadvantages - so far...
Review of Dell Inspiron 530 - Pentium Dual Core E2140 1.6 GHz - 17" TFT by Stanislav69

Advantages: double proccessor, never overheats, very quiet, selection of grpahics cards, enclosed in silver casing
Disadvantages: none

The Dell Inspiron 530 was a birthday present for me and is a very stylish and new computer. This computer is very stylish because of the silver casing which covers the actual black computer box its self. Bothe DVD and optional blue ray disc drives are hidden making it look plain which also makes it look very neat and tidy. The Dual Core processor is capable of much more than it seems. All though Core 2 duo would be much better, the PC is able to ...
...that the 1.4Ghz is doubled meaning that the total output is actually a big 2.8Ghz! (reliable source - My dad who works for an IT buisness as a programer). There is also a selection of graphics cards to choose with this proccessor if bought online from dell. This computer makes little noise and is very quiet compared with my mums Packard Bell computer which has only a Pentium D proccessor. There are no disadvantages to this computer so far and I ...
