IBM are amazing
Review of ThinkCentre A35 8139 - Celeron D 330 2.66 GHz by
Conteo
Advantages: Amazing Spec for Price
Disadvantages: not the best looker
I have know that IBM have been a good reliable make for a while now, but this PC is amazing. The spec that you get for the money is good and in general the PC feels fast, amazing for your day to day tasks, such as word processing and basic picture editing. I personnally use it for programming, and makes light work with VB. With any IBM product this feels study and doesnt look like its going to break with time. I love the monitor. The only downside ...

High performance for a budget price
Review of Acer AcerPower FH - Celeron D 360 by
clerkkent
Advantages: Cheap enough to upgrade
Disadvantages: Low RAM
...to plug something in. The Acer case however has both 4 USB ports and the Mic / headphone sockets located more towards the centre. This makes a lot easier whether the tower is located above or below desk.
SOFTWARE
##########
The PC comes pre-loaded with Windows XP. This is again a reflection on the price paid. If required however, the PC is fully Vista ready. Although the PC will run Vista without any hardware upgrades necessary, a memory upgrade ... ...meets the basic specification required for Vista. Additional software includes NTI for burning a variety of CD formats, and Power DVD. Also supplied is Norton Anti-virus, however this is only a limited time edition and you will be required to pay to renew subscription after a six month period. Personally although Norton has improved slightly, it is still a very resource hungry piece of software and there are other better programmes on the market. ...

A Top Range DUAL CORE PC for a GOOD Price.
Review of HP Pavilion Media Center TV m7635.uk - Core 2 Duo E6400 2.13 GHz by
TheTechGuy0
Advantages: Fast 2GB RAM, Fast DL DVD Writer, Fast wireless adapter and fast hard drive
Disadvantages: Misadvertisement of graphics card in some cases.
This is an excellent PC; due to it's high specs and other reasons: The core 2 duo processor was top range on release
The 2 GB RAM runs at DDR667 which was the fastest on release
The DL DVD Writer is very fast and has light scribe It has a fast wireless adapter built in and also a TV tuner
The 400GB Hard Drive is EXTREMELY FAST and QUIET; it has a burst speed of 200+ MB/S on the SATA 300 Interface
It has 'easy to access' ports at front!
However ...

Hp Touchsmart IQ772.uk
Review of HP TouchSmart IQ772.uk - Turion 64 X2 TL-58 1.9 GHz - 19" TFT by
Deagon
Advantages: Very Sleek, Full Of Extras And No Unsightly Wiring Everywhere
Disadvantages: Inefficient Cooling Due To Sleek Case, Possible unreliability Due To High Operating Temperatures
...although i must admit that hp were kind enough to replace its hard disk drive twice in less than a month. 5 stars for that HP! but really in my own personal opinion this machine is heavily overpriced considering its performance. although it does look nice its comes with windows vista home premium installed which makes light work of this pc's lack of resources. and not forgetting the temperature issue, i have at this very moment checked the temperates ... ...load, (ie, only running mozilla firefox and zonealarm security suite and windows obviously)
This pc will sit quite comfortably at a CPU temperature of 64*c and a GPU temp 54*c. personally i wouldn't expect to see this high of temperature unless this machine had been heavily overclocked, but at stock speeds this is crazy.
But there is a good side to my review...
I must admit that this pc comes packed to the teeth with loads of extras. for one this ...
