Hi, Mac mini's are brilliant, i have to make it clear that I do not own one, but I use them almost every day! They were designed to be small, so the best thing is that they arn't working as a small machine they work well because they were designed to. What I mean is they didn't say, let's put a 1.8ghz processor in a small computer, they said, let's make a small computer i know we'll put in a 1.8ghz prosessor! this machine is a reliable and fast, in the year i have had it it has only crashed a few times, and that was mainly because i tried to run far too many programs at once. however, while some people may like the plain black design, i find it rather bland and lifeless, also the lack of DVD writer drive limits the usefulness of the tower, and the UBS ports are hard to access.
