Mini Me Super PC!
Review of HP Compaq Business Desktop dc7700 - Core 2 Duo E6400 2.13 GHz by andycharger

Advantages: size, weight reduction, great performance
Disadvantages: smaller expansion cards needed.

...in the box is a HP keyboard and optical mouse that connect via USB. There are 4 unused small form factor expansion slots at the rear right of the case for PCI and AGP style cards. Again like the tower design DC7700, the sound is somehow delivered from the PC with no visible speakers. These are built in and come preinstalled with the operating system. So you will have sound during the XP setup. Installation is quick as most of the install is ready ...
...network settings. As mentioned before we have had issues with the pre installed Symantec AntiVirus software as it clashed with our existing A/V on the network but this is something we uninstall before proceeding now. We learnt the hard way! There are no install CDs with the PC itself and it asks you to make a set of recovery CDs when you initially start it up. I would highly recommend doing this as you might need to reinstall the operating system ... Read review

Great little Pc
Review of Acer Veriton M460 - Core 2 Duo E4500 2.2 GHz by mop591

Advantages: High speeds
Disadvantages: Very bad graphics, not a gaming pc

This is a great pc for business. Its 2.2Ghx dual core cpu (4.4Ghx total speed) with a 2mb Cache combined with the 1GB of RAM provides a very fast, reliable machine able to cope with many demanding programs running at one time. It also comes with microsoft office 2007 and windows xp software included and with a 160GB hard drive to store all your data. Despite its power to cope with many programs it is very poor if you are looking for a gaming pc, ... Read review

mac mini for free
Review of Apple Mac mini Core Duo 1.83 GHz by rocker_1990

Advantages: everything ever!
Disadvantages: none

Hi, Mac mini's are brilliant, i have to make it clear that I do not own one, but I use them almost every day! They were designed to be small, so the best thing is that they arn't working as a small machine they work well because they were designed to. What I mean is they didn't say, let's put a 1.8ghz processor in a small computer, they said, let's make a small computer i know we'll put in a 1.8ghz prosessor! It's about the size of a small pile ...
...forget it had a DVI output for viewing so you'll also need a DVI to VGA adaptor if you hope to run on normal monitor (although i belive this is included) It was aimed at the entry level mac user but every maclover loves a mini. These now ship with leopard and are intel based so you can put XP on them if you wish, although i woudln't recommend it because then you leave yourself open to virus's and let's face it mac osX is better than XP! They aren't ... Read review

Excellent machine
Review of HP Compaq Business Desktop dc5750 - Athlon 64 X2 4200+ 2.2 GHz by bllward

Advantages: Good value for money, Strong specs
Disadvantages: Vista

...word I can use for HP is trust. I never have serious issues with HP servers or workstations. This workstation is very solid looking, if a bit bland. It has a good quality feel and seems bullet-proof! It has an incredibly powerful processor and a decent amount of Ram, which is what makes all the difference when doing work. Dare I say it, but put a decent graphics card in an you would have a decent gaming machine! This is a business workstation, ...
...is perhaps unfair to criticise HP for a Microsoft product, but is part of the purchase price. I have found that it tends to crash and slow down at the most ridiculous times, and it gets incredibly irritating. Rather than staying away from it altogether though, just wait for the next service pack. Interestingly, the machine scores 3.2 in the Windows Vista performance test, which is a pretty good score for a workstation. Very good value for money, ... Read review

A Top Range DUAL CORE PC for a GOOD Price.
Review of HP Pavilion Media Center TV m7635.uk - Core 2 Duo E6400 2.13 GHz by TheTechGuy0

Advantages: Fast 2GB RAM, Fast DL DVD Writer, Fast wireless adapter and fast hard drive
Disadvantages: Misadvertisement of graphics card in some cases.

This is an excellent PC; due to it's high specs and other reasons: The core 2 duo processor was top range on release The 2 GB RAM runs at DDR667 which was the fastest on release The DL DVD Writer is very fast and has light scribe It has a fast wireless adapter built in and also a TV tuner The 400GB Hard Drive is EXTREMELY FAST and QUIET; it has a burst speed of 200+ MB/S on the SATA 300 Interface It has 'easy to access' ports at front! However ... Read review
