Good Pc
Review of HP Compaq Business Desktop dc5700 - Pentium D 915 2.8 GHz by
bazooka915
Advantages: Fast and good call support
Disadvantages: many better looking pcs in the market
Its a pc worth having a little pricy for me but for the support that is given incase there are any problems with it, so it is good, speed too is good. Any buisness stream will indeed make good use of this pc. Its great with mutli tasking. This is something that is really in need for and in the present time business scenarios. Also the time for the processor to compile various jobs is good and this is needed very much in current core business pc because ...

Well specified Windows XP machine for office use.
Review of Fujitsu Siemens ESPRIMO E5916 - Core 2 Duo E6300 by
MoltenJules
Advantages: Good configuration options, Windows XP, quiet and fast
Disadvantages: Looks are not going to win places on many desks
Earlier this year I bought five of these for a customer. It must be said that the money was not spent on visual styling. They are not the best looking machine but they are a good package in terms of performance and value if you shop around. They are very quiet and easy to configure. I had reservations about using Vista until SP1 had come out and since most of the customer's office used Windows XP I had to look around for a PC which came with Windows ... ...then have to buy an XP licence?
It was best to get around the rather basic and uninspiring design by standing the base unit under the desk on its edge rather like a slim tower. The PC was well specified with 1 GB of RAM and this worked very well with the chosen operating system, Windows XP. It also came with a DVD burner which offered good performance. In all a good performer for the office, quiet and reliable and easy to work on. I would recommend ...

Slightly different from the norm...
Review of Fujitsu Siemens ESPRIMO E5916 - Core 2 Duo E6420 by
Beckiboo83
Advantages: Cheap, fast, stylish
Disadvantages: Not much ram
...replace our DELL PCs with Fujitsu Siemens. I can honestly say I'm very pleased with that decsion!
The base unit can be stored either vertically or horizontally and is a basic light and dark grey colour, nothing to spectacular about it's looks! The monitor I have is 19" and is fantastic, really big and bright and perfect for office working conditions.
The system comes with Windows XP and all the basic Microsoft gumph that you would expect to find, ... ...to upgrade to 1GB quite cheaply.
Overall, this PC is brilliant for office use, as well as at home. It makes a nice change to be using something other than Dell and I think Fujitsu Siemens PCs will gain a bigger share in the market as time moves on. ...

My dream mini
Review of Apple Mac mini Core Duo 1.66 GHz by
screwcap
Advantages: Speed, looks, size, silence, availability of applications.
Disadvantages: None (except the keyboard and mouse, but you don't have to buy them).
...years ago. I used the Apple educational online store, with free delivery and really good telephone customer service (although it takes a while for the phone to be answered).
Being used to regular blue screens of death, to the system slowing down to a halt almost everytime I had more than 3 or 4 applications running, or if I watched a couple of videos on You Tube, to not being able to watch DVDs for fear of crashing the system and all that, it's ... ...the Might Mouse and the Apple keyboard to go with it. I only did because the Apple store in Regent St was the most convenient to reach at the time I realised I couldn't use my old mouse and keyboard (not USB), but I really regret spending that sort of money (about £50 for both of them) for something that you can't take apart nor clean. The mouse has already lost some of its functionality after only 4 months of use, possibly due to dust gathered from ...

GOOD BUDGET PRICE PC!!!
Review of Acer AcerPower M8 - Athlon 64 3500+ by
kerrystackhouse
Advantages: Good value for money
Disadvantages: A DVD Writer wouldn't have goe amiss
...very negligible, I feel sure Acer could have included a DVD writer and still kept retained the budget price. Fortunately I already had an external writer, but I can see where this could sway the balance for potential customers.
SOUND:
On board sound card, nothing special, no 5.1 surround or anything, but then it does the job, namely provides stereo sound. Obviously if you want something special, you can always add it at a later date, or buy a higher ... ...time I will say that I am very pleased with what I have got for the money. The Acer Power M8 is a budget price PC with no frills or flashing lights, but if you want a basic every day reliable PC, then I would definitely recommended this to you! ...
